Early Madrid

Is the counter-attack in Early Madrid scripted to occur on a specific turn, or is it triggered by events? I triggered it around turn 8, which seemed a bit early. I held the objectives, but 12 turns of that was bloody.

The first should be on turn 10 IIRC.

Yes the vast majority of events are time based. The problem with event based is that people used to figure out what the events were, and deliberately not trigger them. That's not a good system to have. People doing things like clearing out all VH on the map, but not occupying any of them until they take every single one of them all at once.
Time marches on regardless. =)
