An early mounted probe ended in disaster under hails of missile fire, after which the superior Sherden infantry could take their time dislodging the Assyrian battle line on the hill. Tough result for the Assyrians with no little amount of luck involved.

alexhstandish (Hephalite/Sassanid) beat Ulysisgrunt (Avar) 60:39

A full on clash with both armies fielding bow cavalry and lancers. The Ghaznavids shored up their right flank with bow and spear in some rough ground. Both sides lost cavalry in large numbers,, but the Ghaznavid elephants managed to catch enough lancers to win the day.

alexhstandish (Ghaznavid) beat MH5064 (Axumite) 64:51

The battlefield was spilt between two large woods. A massive fight in the centre between Ghaznavid elephants and Axumite superior foot ended with big losses to both sides. On the Ghaznavid right flank their light horse managed to catch a number of bowmen in the open and rout them. But the Dailami veterans in the wood failed to earn their pay and ran disgracefully.
Eventually, the Ghaznavid cavalry managed to finish off enough Axumite infantry left over in the centre to just secure the win.

You are correct, I counted the scores of the game of Rosedelio vs Stew101 as your game against Rosedelio (it was the next line in the spreadsheet ). Good catch and thanks for the help. The results will be corrected in the next update in a few days.

Carthage tried for the ambush/outflank, but Pyrrhus mowed down the pinning force before the ambush could spring...and it was down hill from there

Division A

Stones1985 (Elamite with Babylonian Allies) beat carpenkm (Seleucid with Parthian Allies) by a score of 42 to 14.

An open battlefield and the Seleucids/Parthians struggled to cope with the Elamite Chariots and bow fire. Once the pikes finally got into action they did well but the support troops drifted away. Good game. Thanks.

heidipie catalans pulled out victory over anguosborne Castilians , 68 to 51

fought around a patch of broken ground, the Catalans hit the enemy foot quite hard and ran up a good score
however the Catilian mounted started catching up with good charges , and Catalan units with high losses started to run

but reached 60 % before Castilians
