however the Italian knights had no fear and charged catalan crossbows that did not properly deploy into the cover in the center and west of the new line
resulting in massacre of bowmenn
but the Catalans routed the italian east flank, and then managed to trap and swarm over zealous knights following their charges, with them stuck in the broken ground

very close one, just too many catalans in the rough was the margin

Rockmanbob123 (vikings) defeats phlewis (Indians) 61-41

The vikings used rough ground that ran through the center of the battlefield to disrupt and slow the elephants while closing with the weaker indian infantry and missles. at the same time, Viking and indian horse clashed on the viking right in the the clear terrain. After tense 10 turn battle, the indian horse broke exposing the rest of the indian line's flank.

Even fight in the centre, while I won the chariot fight on my left with a narrow but consistent lead. Maintained this right up til the last turn, when some of his reserve Libyans caught my poorly positioned archers, and got within one point of the win. Exciting match...

Egyptian light chariots in the open plain on the Egyptian right managed to keep a fairly even fight against the horde of Syro-Canaanite light and heavy chariots, while the Egyptian infantry were winning in the rough ground and enclosures on their left. Good game.

My initial deployment was good until I tried to move most of my army to my left. Mike then expertly usd his 4 dismounted knights units to sheperd me into a good killing zone.

For most of the game, Mike had a good lead but due to some demi god heroics from one elephant unit in particular, it stood for 9 or maybe 10 tunrs against overwhelming factors against a dismounted knight unit. Even maging to survve 3 tests when fragmented to protect the flank of another elephant unit. I was able to slow down the advance of the Germans and win the game
