Early Stage update on the results reported so far

In Div A Tyronec takes the early lead, but Random, Bagatrix and Morat are scoring well and waiting for a slip up.
Div B is still at an early stage, but Ulysisgrunt who is unbeaten to date and mh5064 are making early waves.

Division A

Minimalist battlefield with a lot of moving parts and considerable pre contact manoeuvring from the Byzantines attempting to limit the enemies numerical advantage. Who knows if it made a difference, in the end the scales tilted in favour of the scrambling Empire enough to win the chocolates.

The battlefield gave the advantage to the Italians as they had to defend three mountain passes. The french bravely charged the Italian spears guarding the north and central passes but could not break through. The Italians counterattacked through the south pass after ambushing the recon force and wheeled left crushing the brave gauls in a vise.

The tuareg camels met a mixed line of spears arrows and crossbows but could not break through, The Italian knights attacked the Tuaregs on the left, and despite the smell of camels, the Italian horse broke the Tuaregs and wheel to roll up the rest of the Tuareg force.
