Yup, I'm also waiting for Fedem to pick up my challenge for Alarcos.

I don't think he'll show up now. We're back to 5, which is not a bad thing since everyone will play the other 4 persons each round. Easier to permutate too.

Crusading fervour reached its peak in the late 12th and early 13th century, following the loss of Jerusalem in 1187. As often the case, the whole enterprise was eventually hijacked by other more worldly pursuits, leading to crusaders attacking fellow Christians; such was the case of the Fourth Crusade which definitively destroyed Byzantium as a major power and the Crusade against the Cathar heresy in Occitania which served as a catalyst for the subjugation of the south by northern French barons.
