With one Ghurid elephant stabbed to death and another shot to death the Portuguese knights were able to stop hiding in the bushes and deal out some death and destruction. Lots of cheap troops died valiantly to clinch the victory. Another turn and the scores would have been much closer as Eric had troops through my lines and in behind me. Just not fast enough to save the day.

In a race against time, the more capable Sherden swordsmen grind their way through the Assyrian infantry as their right flank buckles and gives way to the charges of chariot and horse. A bloodbath, but the numerical superiority of the infantry tells at the end.

Infantry Army broke through the left while my own cav got shredded - my troops were able to then crush the center before his cav was able to do too much damage (as it was following my broken units for quite a while) - good game, thanks

Division 1

harveylh Catalan Company 1380-1388 AD defeats ericdoman1 Indian Muslim 1470 AD, 62-41

It was a battle of two flanks. The Indian Muslims led by their elephants initially crushed the Catalan Company's left flank. With reinforcements from the center the Catalans managed to counterattack and stabilize their left flank. Fortunately the Catalans had sent several units on a long march and managed to get behind the Indian’s left flank and completely destroyed it which demoralized the Indian army. Good and tough game which usually happens when I play Eric.
