An announcement: The whole icon pack for the leIG 18 was newly uploaded in an improved version...

Changes include:

The original kneeling soldier figure was a little blurred because I reduced the original model in size (to 85%), so this lowered the sharpness of the camo uniforms. In the new versions, those figures were replaced by other ones, which were reduced in size by hand. I think they look better.

For the Fallschirmjager icons, besides changing the kneeling figure, the gun was given a different color scheme (the old one used the same light brown used for the SS icon). This new color more closely matches the Fallschirmjager soldiers uniforms.

The new icons are uploaded in the original postings.
Apologies for the inconvenience! :-)

Stan! Of course you are right! I did not think about this image being a big unit portrait... But it is an excellent idea... Thanks!
Here is the PT Boat Big image in the correct format: 256 x 256 pixels and transparent background, to make it more "PzCorps compilant"

Greetings!

With Kaiserschlacht nearly complete, I am beginning to collect extra stuff for my next mod (not yet announced officially). I am looking for a bunch of new graphics that would go in the "Overlays" and "Ports" files.

Looking for:
- Monsoon tile
- Monsoon tile with jungles
- East Asian city tile
- Set of ports that go with the E. Asian city
- "Hut village" city tile(s)
- "Hut village" ports

And some screenshots from Strategic Command 2: Pacific Theater to give you an idea what I'm looking for:

East Asian tileset:

Hut village tileset:

Let me know if this is at all possible in the next 2-3 weeks (no rush, I'm still finishing WWI and WotW1.1)

BNC: Ground tiles are not my field... I never made one... But why reinvent the Wheel? Maybe you can ask permission to the people who made the Pazifik Korps mod to use the graphics they developed...

Only problem there is that they remade all the tiles. I was hoping for some that would work with the vanilla stuff.

Anyone who can help?

I posted these a few days ago in the Battlefield Europe thread, but after receiving some constructive criticism, I reworked the insignias to improve the blend and shading. This community has given me a lot since I arrived, so I thought I'd post the final version here to try and give a little something back. :)

Ice: Yes I saw those icons, and downloade them to be kept in my ico vault... Just a little comment: The shark mouth seems to be a little oversized (please don't get angry, just a little feed-back). But the other two Bf-110s are excellent!

Hello to all...
After Anfield uploaded his italian units, I got inspired and decided to fiil some gaps in the Italian unit roster, useful if Italy is going to become a "main" and not a "minor" country in Pz Corps. Also I think it can give more options to the players wanting to try the Italian mods available here. So, here is a big unit pack of 44 icons for Italian forces, mostly infantry units, but also other classes of units are included. I tried to give icons a "variety", but also to give a "uniform" look, trying to make them blend as good as possible with the stock game icon style.

What is in the pack:

Alpini (mountain) Infantry - with big unit portrait.
Saharan Infantry 37 --> Switch to AS.37 Camionetta.
Saharan Infantry 42 --> Switch to AS.42 Sahariana.
Barge Trailer --> An auxiliary bridging unit?
Bersaglieri 39 - with big unit. Upgrades to -->
Bersaglieri 42 - with big unit also.
Bridge Engineers (bridging) --> switch to Bridge Eng (move).
Bridge Eng (alt): The regular "PzCorps" looking icon.
Bridge Trailer --> Another auxiliary bridge unit.
Camicie Nere (Black Shirts): Special Infantry
Cavalry
Italian Char B1
SE Italian Char B1
Engineers
Frogmen
Infantry 39 --> upgrades to
Infantry 43
Infantry HW - with big unit and AA mode.
Infantry HW (alt) and (alt2) --> Alternative versions.
SE Infantry HW - with big unit and AA mode
Parachutisti 39 --> upgrades to
Parachutisti 42
Parachutisti HW --> Switch to AA mode.
Also all the Para units have their matching SE variants.
Maiale manned torpedo.

What is coming soon:
Breda da 20/65 AA - At gun (Para)
Battaglioni M (Special HW Inf unit)
Moto GUzzi Alce 500 recon
Solothurn 20mm AT Rifle
Trattore Legero TL.37 in several variants.
Fiat 626 Truck in several variants.
Obice da 149/19 in Arty and AT modes.
AB.40 armored car with AB.40 Ferroviaria switch

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Credits, for the units uploaded in this post and what is going to be posted soon:

Anfield: for giving the original idea, also used his reworked soldier figures, which are excelent!

Asuser: for some gorgeous icons that made it straight into the collection (Maiale, Frogmen), other were taken as a basis for new infantry units, and also provided "parts" that look very nice, for example the italian steel helmet, which became the standard issue to all units of this pack, and the Fiat 626 truck (which is left for the second part of this pack). All his icons show an unbelievable detail and are backed by a thorough research work.

McGuba: His superb icon for the Obice da 149/19 modello 37 was the basis for the reworked Aty/AT version.

Nikivdd: Provided the very good Italian Char B1

ThvN: Provided the incredibly detailed Breda da 20/65 gun in AA and AT modes

And many ideas taken from here and there, if someone recognizes his work, please let me know, I don't want to leave anyone unmentioned.

Comments, feedback is always welcome. I hope you like the units, and you find some good use for therm!

Thanks, yep, the Italians are pretty well covered now!
The AS.37 got a bit large maybe, but it's nice to have an early Sahariana unit now. The AS.42 becomes much too late available.

In the Slovak Unit pack by VPaulus, I found a Savoia-Marchetti SM.84 bomber. I wonder if there is also an Italian variant around.

I believe allot of these units are already in the Total Realism Mod.

Razz: No doubt some of those units are in the Total Realism mod, because there is an incredible lot of units there... But, I can assure that the icons I uploaded are in the most part original ones, because I made/adapted/modified them just hours ago!

Horst: Thanks for your feedback, after a quick scale check of the AS.37 vs. the AS.42 Sahariana, I saw you were right... So here is a new "sub-pack" of AS_Camionetta units, replacing the old ones, and also adding a new variant (the recon vehicle)... and in regular and SE camo schemes. This time they are a liitle more on-scale, and better looking also (imho). By the way... I am preparing a base Icon for what I believe is an improved SM.84 icon, so, you will be able to download it from this thread very soon.

I hope you (an all people here) consider it an improvement. Enjoy desert campaigning!! :-)
