I am fairly certain that we will reach 30 players in this section to guarantee that we will have three divisions this season. Once we have reached 30 players any recruitment after that will be considered provisional until we reach 36 players. If we reach 36 players then there will be four divisions again this season. It does not matter if a division is a player or two short at the start as recruitment can continue until the second Time Control check at the half-way stage of the tournament. There are always players seeking to join the tournament after it has started.

If you wish to be considered as a reserve please put your name down in this thread with the sections that you want to play in. You do not need to choose an army at this stage. I will contact you by PM if a place becomes available. It is worth doing this as reserves are often called upon to play, sometimes even 4-5 weeks after the tournament has started.

Reminders have now been sent to everyone who has not yet replied to their first invitation. Hopefully we will fill up a lot of the remaining places over the weekend. The Themed Event is struggling to attract enough players to be viable. It is disappointing as I had hoped the Silk Road mod would have been more popular. I have 2 players who are prepared to play in a fifth section if it means the Themed Event can go ahead. If there is anyone else already signed up to 4 sections who wants to also play in the Themed Event then please let me know. I am prepared to waive the 4 section maximum rule for this season if it means the Themed Event can go ahead. Also, players new to the FOG2DL this season can now put their names down for the first pool. Originally, I had asked them to wait for the second pool but we are not very likely to be running it now. I will write separately about this to those new players who have already joined the FOG2DL this season.
