Sgt0gre (English w/Scotts) defeats DirtyMark (Danish w/ German Imperial) 58-30

I used the woods to hide my hoards of Scotts until the Danes got close, then let those screaming banshees loose on his right flank. Numbers just barely overcame the Danes and allowed some flank attacks to turn the tide.

Good and fun fight.

Those evasive Bulgars made me chase them all over the field (and off the field). We tried to convince them that manly men fought on foot, in a shield wall, but they wouldn't listen. So we lined up and marched forward until we were able to get some fighting in before nightfall, when those buggers ran off...

My biggest mistake was letting my peasants get into the fight... Now I need farm labor - ugh

Medians took advantage of a wide hill behind a crossable stream. As the Spartan flanks fell to greater numbers of Mede spears, their superior hoplites attempted a brave breakthrough up the hill, which was highly successful, but a bit too late to save the day.
