Hi Robert, I will try to answer your questions:
Campaign and Japanese:
- I am a little confused here. The main campaign includes the Manchuria scenario (the last one), which is a big one that covers the gigantic operation there. There you have A LOT of units.
- The mod includes TWO stand alone scenarios covering the last battles of the war: Sakhalin Island and Kuril Islands. They cannot be added to the campaign as they are too small, I just add them to give some fun to the players, and also to add some new flavor with scenarios never made before.
Answers and issues:
- I will fix the text, it seems I missed it. But I think the new hexes are very intuitive.

- Strange about the sound issues with the German Inf, I will have to recheck. During the tests I didnt noticed anything usual.
- The only limitation is to fulfill the assignment to "enable" the war on Italy. (Diplomats mission)
- Sorry about the "unexpected error". I am afraid there is no much I can do, for sure is a combination of the game + hardware configuration + big scenario. Just in case, next time try to run the game with all applications closed in order to have more available memory?. I hope it is a random error and it would not repeat again. :S
- Regarding the convoy messages, I could add them for sure, is not big deal. But always remember to check all the reinforcements and convoys entry points at the beginning of your turn!.
Tips
- The despair is intended

. I wanted to give the player the feel that the Soviets had early in the war.
- I should waste prestige if you have some survivor I-16 with experience. In my gameplay I had 2 or 3 I-16 with plenty experience, I upgraded them to Yak-1 and so on... although I lost them later

. You will need good fighters with exp. in order to face the improving German ones.
- I sorry about your lose of Leningrad. I played the game on General difficulty and I managed to keep the city (I consider myself a below average player), although it was surrounded for MANY turns. Try to have heavy tanks (KVs) adjacent to the city, the Germans will hesitate to attack them. Air defense is critial, you will need AA and fighters over the skies of the city, also try to protect the Baltic Fleet, its firepower is critical to weaken the enemy artillery in the outskirts of the city. Also, do not hesitate to use the "new" Road of Life to send reinforcements if needed. In my experience, to hold Leningrad is critical to keep your chances to win: the AI keep considerable number of units for the siege, quite like in the real life. If you lose the city, all those units will rush for Moscow and other objectives.... So try again!, I am sure you will manage to hold it!.
Suggestions:
- Nazi flags, as far as I know, to have the "historical" flag could lead to some issues in countries like Germany. The SS symbol is another story I think, it is not harmful as far as I know.
- I could improve Unthinkable for sure, I knew about the German divisions, but in that moment I decided to have only Allied equipment against the Soviets. But everything can be improved
