Same thing - it's just an archaic version of 'welsh' - bit like ye olde ale, etc. Most famously used in various regiments of the British Army. I suppose arguably one shouldn't use either as iirc it's only what invading peoples called the people there (beyond the borders).

Actually I've never had Welsh ale... any good?

Any chance of posting the season results here instead of having to open all those spread sheats?

Hi Deeter

Only just spotted this. Mike/Triarius and jonno, look after the spread sheet stuff, proib this is Mike's thang. He'll be in bed prob now but I will pm and email him.

I would also like to see an easier way of looking through all f the sheets. I find it a bit slow and a pain to back click all of the time.

Thena gain I think it is the first time somebody has asked about it. Just wondering if anybody else checks the results/tables?

Cheers

Eric

I did indeed. While the aim of the trip was to hewlp the disadvantaged, I did do some "tourist" stuff. Going to the "Roof of the World" was a highlight for China. While having lunch at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club was special. 8)

Div A

hidde (Later Visigothic-later) 37/47
batesmotel (Early Byzantine) 46/41

Initiativ:hidde

The Byzantines outmaneuvered the Visigoth. Their lancers smashed into a weak Gothic left flank with great effect.
They built up a huge lead and the Gothic flank were at the end of their tether. Enter the Gods of War(dice)
The flank held...and held...for a miraculous long time! At the same time the Byzantine infantry in the center vaporized.
The tables were turned and the Byzantines weren't able to regroup in time to stop the Gothic juggernaut. 8)

Div A

Fedem Ghaznavid 31/34 vs Triarius Syrians 41/41

Tough Battle ere the Ghaznavid tried to set a defensive position that the Syrian Army almost succeed to overwhelm. The battle could have gone to either side. We both had our dose of good luck. A draw would have been the proper result.

Well played Triarius.

Pw doesn't work, neither spelled correctly nor the version you put above - tried both also with upper case A.
As I said, I issued a challenge already, last week - see below:

Indeed although the password "Wallabies Rule" show's he is a deluded Aussie

Div B result Astrides (Late Carthage in Italy) 49/49 lost to rexhurley (LRR's) 20/35, the inexorable roll of the legionairres again crossed the table, clever manouvreing, use of terrain and a double envelopment still failed to save the day for Carthage :D

Romans won the initiative to.

Thanks for the game buddy, cheers Rex

Finir buddy any chance we can progress our game?
