Alexhstandish (Western Huns) and Ggarynorman (Roman) fought to a draw: score was 54 (Hun) against 47 (Rome).

Very tough game. Terrain was heavy mountains and forests which dictated much of the battle.

The Huns tried to get round the flanks. On the Hun right their light horse found a track through the forest, but the Roman cavalry shut the door. The Roman left was very crowded with mountains and forests. The Huns managed to get a battle around this flank via a narrow forested pass, but this took time.

In the meantime the battle in the centre saw success for both sides, with the Roman cavalry distinguishing itself.

Eventually the Hun left flank force pushed aside some raw legionaries and auxillia and managed to take out the artillery and bowmen in the centre.

At game end, the Romans held the centre with legionaries and the Hun cavalry was milling around, out of arrows and unable too take out the legions.

Very tense battle, well played ggarynorman and thanks for the game.

Stones1985(Ptolemaic) beat Kroche (Macedonian) by a score of 62 to 54.

The Ptolemaics took an early lead but the Macedonians pulled back level. Things then turned into total carnage as both sides had multiple flank charges. Even on the last turn both sides lost a unit to a flank charge. The Ptolemaics just holding on for the win.
