The Mameluk cav tried to swing wide but found themselves under fire from massed crossbows and being pressed towards the edge of the board, they picked their targets for the charges but too many units were already disrupted. A fun little side fight on a hill went well for the Neopolitian knights. Thanks for the game.

Rafydedel Arab (City) 300-633 AD defeats carpenkm Palmyran 258-273 49-12

The battleground was difficult, with a small plain surrounded by steep hills, rough terrain, forest and swamp (and combination of these different elements). Palmyran assaulted my left wing where they seemed to be a kind of open way to attack, while my right wing was moving on their flank. The flanking movement was fast enough (or the Palmyran assault was slow enough) to allow my center to engage in a good position.
