I don't know if I should thank you or not? :| At least it gives something to work over in my head cause I could not understand the data language (so "Thank you", but don't tell anybody I said so). Sometimes I see incremental drops in NM and have to wonder why.

Next question: Has anybody ever see Finland as a independent country during a game? :?: I'm curious for I see references in scripts about Finland will do this, or do that if certain conditions are met.

@Bob/operating, my response was in plain english and not "data language", it's the most I can give you, sorry if it wasn't clear enough but things like computer scripts are sometimes confusing to people even if translated to layman's terms. :?
Just stay true to: have a good kill/loss ratio while having the biggest possible army you can build and don't lose any PP by losing cities.

Regarding Finland: Finland is a part of Russia at the start of the game. In vanilla CTGW it will just be separated from Russia by the Finnish Civil War event (Helsinki and the two other cities). It will be neutral. At no point it will be an independent nation with the ability of building units and wage war.

Also I would find it more appropriate to move any questions not regarding my mod to the main CTGW forum.
Yes, there is not much activity there, but that is not a proper reason to move ANY activity to my mod's thread.
Those new questions will make the main CTGW forum more alive and rest assured, me and quite a few other users are scanning the main CTGW too for any new threads and might even miss your questions if you only ask them here. :)

When I mentioned data language, meaning the script language itself, your explanation was as good as it get's. Sorry you misunderstood my tongue in cheek first sentence. All other posts to main menu, the thought did not occurred to me, it's been awhile since being active on this forum.

@operating: just to stay offtopic for once, I relish those times when back in the 80ies, when I was still on my Commodore 64 homecomputer, those hardcore wargames shipped from the US to europe included instructions with detailed writeups of the game's internal code. I guess it was those that brought me to modding eventually. ^^

Hello, guys! I am glad to see that Robo continue to work on his mod. Mod still unplayable in multiplayer? If there is hope to complete the game or help fix the problem, I would like to play with one of you.

No, no news about multiplayer.
Not exactly a lot of feedback either from people trying singleplayer and reporting back about their experience or bugs found.

Also I've a lot of trouble accessing the forums at all since a week due to some SQL/bad gateway error reported by my browser.

I think in singleplayer mode is quite stable and balanced. In my 4 games on last versions 6.2 and 6.4 I have no crashes. So, nobody want trying multi?

Great news Argentum about having no crashes. As soon as the Slitherene forum gets stable again, I'll issue a challenge to you.
For now I find it absolutely impossible to have a decent access to the forums with waiting times of about 5 minutes until the site reacts.

According to posts on the matrix forum, Slitherene is under attack from a denial-of-service-attack from an unknown source.

@nehi: about your crash report: do you remember what was going on when the crash happened? Is it possible your ships were bombarding coastal cities in France or Belgium?

not really, it was at the very beginning of the turn, ive started to attack french dreadnought with all ive got

it crashes at third attack in a row or so, after reload it went smoothly, so it looks like something stacked from previous turns

it happened to me twice (two different games), both playing as cp in turn after first french

i saved log once

Okay, fixed that.

That strange bug where US joins Entente and then capitulates the same turn is gone, right?

Has anyone played the game so far until US joins during the later game?

it needs to play as entente and ai has to pick ultimatum to serbia

with functioning randomizer it has to hit that small chance too...

question is, if there wasnt something more involved

its like unrepeatable now for regular players

ive got that older version, if log could help u to activate same chain of events

No, you misunderstood me.

I was asking whether US are DOWing and capitulating during the same turn in the LATER game, so about 1916-1917.
