Simply overwrite the Cold Breeze folder with the new one.

The AH-60 Black Hawk Arpia III is a heavily modernized, heavily armed attack variant of the American Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawk multi-purpose helicopter, developed specifically for the Colombian Air Force (FAC). The development was carried out by Colombian specialists in close cooperation with the Israeli company Elbit Systems (Israel Aircraft Industries).

The helicopter is designed to combat insurgent groups, conduct patrols, provide fire support to ground troops, and carry out special operations in the challenging conditions of jungle and mountainous terrain.

Key Features and Armament
The main difference between the Arpia III and the base Black Hawk transport helicopter lies in its conversion into a full-fledged “gunship” (a heavily armed support helicopter) through the installation of external pylons and the integration of modern combat systems.

Small-arms armament: It is equipped with 12.7 mm GAU-19/A multi-barrel machine guns featuring a rotating barrel assembly (a Gatling system). The machine guns are mounted both on the sides of the fuselage and in the door openings.
Missile armament: ESSS external hardpoints can carry pods of 70-millimeter Hydra 70 unguided air-to-ground rockets.
Onboard electronics (avionics): Elbit Systems has completely modernized the cockpit (“glass cockpit”). Multifunctional LCD displays, helmet-mounted targeting systems, and a forward-looking infrared (FLIR) system have been installed in the nose for night and all-weather operations.
Defense systems: The helicopter is equipped with onboard defense systems, including sensors for detecting radar and laser illumination, as well as devices for launching thermal decoys (dipole reflectors) to protect against MANPADS.

The Colombian “Harpy” family developed in several stages:
Arpia I and II: The Colombian Air Force’s first attempts to equip the UH-60 with machine guns and unguided rockets.
Arpia III: A version that received an advanced Israeli navigation and fire control system, which took strike accuracy to a new level.
Arpia IV: Further development of the platform. The main innovation of the Arpia IV was the integration of Israeli Spike anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), which transformed the helicopter into a full-fledged hunter of armored vehicles and fortified positions.

Flight duration: from 2 hours (standard combat load) to 7 hours (with external fuel tanks).

Crew and Seating
Crew: 4 (2 pilots and 2 gunners/weapons operators).
Note: Unlike the base Black Hawk, which carries 11 paratroopers, the Arpia III is optimized for assault operations; therefore, its troop compartment has been converted to accommodate fuel tanks, electronics, and ammunition boxes for GAU-19/A machine guns.

Why Taurus can't bomb Bastion rocket launcher, although it can bomb other 'hard' targets?


The Taurus-equipped Eurofighter can only engage hard targets. It is possible that the Bastion system by akkula is defined as a soft target in the equipment file itself.


Take a closer look at the Bastion system: right-click on the unit to bring up the overview. If the target type listed there is "soft," it cannot be attacked by the Eurofighter-Taurus.

Well, thank you for the kind words, but I am still a little too young for retirement. In theory, I would still have to work for quite a while, but fortunately I am not financially dependent on doing so. You could therefore say that I live as a private individual of independent means.

However, this has also led to several other hobbies that now require more of my time and attention. In addition, my latest campaign, “Red Dragon,” was or still is not exactly a major download success, which is why I have further reduced the amount of time I spend on Panzer Corps. That is also why I have decided to bring this chapter to a definite end.

For my own private enjoyment, I will certainly continue working on it from time to time. And because I will naturally remain curious, I will also stop by the forum occasionally.

As for me, I think I’ll stay active with it for a little while longer. I’ve also noticed a significant drop in downloads since Akkula stopped supporting the mod, but I’ll make do. I still have a lot of fun with my scenarios.

If I notice the links to your campaigns eventually going dead, I could always put them back online while waiting for your return. It would be a shame to let them disappear. I keep copies of them, just in case.
Besides, there are always curious people discovering the game 15 years later. You wouldn't want them stumbling onto the forum and thinking, "Darn, this looked amazing, but nothing works anymore."
In fact, I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn't put together some kind of "Modern Conflicts mega-pack" containing all the additions made by us + Tomas (who created some maps and units) ; AssaultX (who made a pretty cool sub-mod) etc... for when I eventually reach the end of the road myself.

It would be a real shame to lose everything.
