Current Standings

If you haven't started at least three games by this point, you'd better post a few more challenges.

Still early days. Challenges made for all divisions is spot on, however actual results is way behind schedule.

If any players are going to struggle please let me know, now:D or as soon as possible, like now:)

I normally start badly and then improve and am leading the way in Division A (probably cursed myself now)

Random27 is ahead in Div B, whilst Morat and Triarii have yet to start and will be there or there about at the end of the season (sorry guys, probably cursed you as well)

Div C is "where it's at". With 8 points separating the top 4. "Doman" shall "steer" away from making predictions/curses on this Division.

We should all Stand With Ukraine. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ ✊

Division C

hscic (Crusader 1155-1291 AD) defeated GraftMalt (Italian Ghibelline 1200-1319 with Sicilian 1200-1266 AD allies) 44% - 62%

hscic points: 80
GraftMalt: 44

Battle that took place in two different areas separated by a river. On the bank originally occupied by the Crusaders, the two cavalry faced each other. That Crusade managed to resist the Ghibelline attacks but lost all the supporting infantry. On the bank of the river initially occupied by the Ghibellines, the main battle took place where the heavy Crusader infantry managed to get the better of the Ghibelline crossbowmen and the few infantry forces left in support. Thanks GraftMalt for a well played match.

anderarcos11 (Parthian 250 BC -225 A deffeated Fluidwill (German Foot Tribes 260-599) 46 to 13

The Parthian army took advantage of a gap in the woods to form a solid defensive line of cataphracts and thureorophoi, while hordes of horse archers disordered and inflicted casualties on the Gothic ranks. When the Goths approached the Parthian line, several of their units were fragmented and worn by the continuous rain of arrows, which the cataphracts took advantage of to finish them off.

Well played.

Scoring is

anderarcos11 93
Fluidwill 13

Division C

gfs26 (Crusader 1118-1154 + Arab(Syria/Iraq) 1009) defeats Sgt0gre (English 1042-1065 + Scots 1040-1051 allies) 62-54 ---> final score : [68-54]

Another very difficult battle on a battlefield with a stream in the middle and also a lot of rough ground ...the English/Scots army attacked on the centre, passing the stream... and finally were able to defeat the crusaders there... but resistance was fierce and combat losses for attrition were high... So the Crusader's cavalry managed to neutralize the enemy cavalry first, and then was able to attack isolated infantry units, with good result. A very close fight and a very good battle, that coud have gone the other way for sure ! Thanks to my opponent!

Div B

Morat Norman (923 - 1040) with French (888-1049) allies beats Bagatrix1805 Viking 900-1049 with French 888-1049: 64-44

Tough fight over a low valley. Norman set up their forces to look to flank the Viking right. A fierce cavalry battle on that flank finished abruptly with the untimely death of a Viking general. On the other side the Vikings worked their way at high speed through the Normans - including a beserker unit setting what feels like a record in dispatching three Norman units in a single round.

In the end the Norman cavalry was just able to get round the side and rear of the vikings to end the battle. But it was close throughout.

Many thanks to Bagatrix1805 for a great game played in a great spirit.

Division A

harveylh - Berber (Almohad) 1121-1269 AD defeats Lennard - Armenian (Cilicia) 1155-1375 AD with Mongol (Illkhanid) 1230-1353 AD ally, 46-14

On a fairly open battlefield, the Armenians with six units of knights backed by supporting medium infantry bow, bow cavalry, and lots of light troops advanced on the Muslim spear line backed by lancers. The Armenians backed by two units of knights defeated the Berber right flank while the left flank was a draw. Fortunately for the Berbers, every knight charge but one bounced and the Berbers crushed the Armenian center. Thanks for the game.
