This. Was. Epic. The scores remained very close all the way though to the end - it was a much, much nearer thing than the final score suggests. A thrilling battle with a fierce opponent!

I also like Klay's and Chris' ideas of buckets.

lydianed (Gallic) drew vs. Karvon (Persian) 58:51.

What a game. Clumsy generalship by the gauls saw them lose their entire right flank and most of their limited cavalry to the clever persians. A few turns from the end it looked like being a win for the Persians but the gaulish centre found the forward button and attacked the remaining Persian foot. Perhaps brought on by the surprise of their enemy finally putting up a fight, the Persians failed every morale role possible tipping the scales towards the gauls. Had the lumbering hordes managed to catch one fragged hoplite unit, they could have snatched an unlikely and probably undeserved victory. GG Karvon.
