Hello All

The Temporary League will become LOEG Season 8. Have had a chat with pantherboy (it's his wee bairn) and he has given it the thumbs up. Great news for jonno, stockwellpete, Triarius and hidde who do all of the various record-keeping, ratings, medals etc.

Have also just pmd the powers that be about ETA of new system. If it is going to take a while. Wondering about kick starting LOEG Season 9 in August. The 4 divisions will remain the same. Would have loved to include Wolves but not yet.

I won initiative, and just about every other die roll since. Ianow had perhaps the worst run of luck I've ever seen. I don't know which was my favorite moment, the time both of his generals died in combat on the same turn, or the time his disordered cavalry unit charged my evaded light foot unit in the rear . . . and broke.

I met a gypsy fortune teller the other day and she told me that I would be 'number one' in everything I do. But I must have got her translation wrong and she actually told me I would GET number one in everything I do (i.e. roll dice).

Well played Mr Iverson. You handled your Romans well and maxed out their full potential.

I think August may be too soon. I prefer to have at least a months break between the old league finishing and a new league starting. It gives people a chance to play in other touraments and for me to recover from my "fog burn-out". (I need time to lick my wounds after all the defeats!)
