Intimidated by the long hill on my opponents side I choose to go heavy on skirmishers and artillery to help persuade him off the hill. He came of the hill without any encouragement and started chasing my army around, my cavalry wiing a limited foot managed to dodge most of the seemingly unstoppable landsknect long enough to finish off most of his lighter troops and take the win. Thanks for the game.

Aetius (Romans) defeats Najanaja (British) 66-58


A lot closer than the Romans would have liked, the British arrayed with their right on a hill, and the left on regular ground. The Romans encircled the British right and turned it successfully, but the British wisely had a group of chariots hiding on their left, and that ruined the Roman right, almost winning it for the British. Luckily, Roman will held together for a close victory. GG!

The Brits were behind for most of the fight, then edged into the lead for the win. Not sure how they did it, but having twice the men didn't hurt 19039 to 9402

Much more difficult game than the score line suggests, we both had weak flanks, but mine resisted while his collapsed, and then after hitting the 25% margin I had a couple of rallies to make the margin wider. Thank you!

Kroche defeated rafydedel 63-49

A very enjoyable and closely contested match which saw the Vikings edge a victory. Germans had the better of the skirmishing due to superior firepower, Vikings moved their strong centre forward as Germans tried to move cavalry to a position to swarm the Viking left. Big clash in the centre with no early winner. German right was very menacing as the forces in the centre hacked it out. Vikings moved their right wing infantry forward to threaten the slightly weaker German left. Vikings very happy to emerge victorious - they had to get through a couple of turns where the German cavalry flanked their left. Fortunately the German centre broke right on time allowing Vikings to claim the field before any more cavalry charges levelled the scores. GG!

A much closer game than the scores suggest. A couple of unlucky double cohesion drops in key combats opened up the Pyrrhic line to the spearmen.
