Very very much in the balance until the collapse of the Macedonian mediums under a Thracian horde (or the bit that was left of it) while the Thracian light cavalry did a passable impersonation of pesky horseflies around the quality Macedonian cavalry.

In an battle that went to the last turn where neither side held back - a fluid battle that covered 2/3 of the map. Well done, very close at times.

CheAhn (Roman) defeats pantherboy (Indian) 57-30

Division B

devoncop (Dailami/Khorasanian allies) beat rbodleyscott (Frankish/Viking allies) 61% to 52%

Aided by some wooded and hilly terrain dotted around the map the Dailami ground out the most unlikely win since David lobbed a pebble in Goliath's direction and hoped for the best !

Swarms of Jewish skirmishers and some doughty performances from the zealots and even the medium foot swamped the better quality Huns who succumbed with just a couple of turns left.
