Good game and closer than the score indicates. The Breton knights and heavy infantry proved very hard to kill and made the game interesting.

A classic Diadochi matchup with lots of pikey pushbacks and follow-ups. Good game.

Div 2 Morat (Visigoths and Byzantines) beat Jtrillodmp (Romans and Franks) 47-22

Romans lined up along a series of low hills. Visigoths split their horse and placed their infantry in the centre shielded by the lights.

Long period of light infantry exchanges as the Visigoth Infantry hung back. Visigothic horse moved to the left flank and then pushed forward, with some infantry support.

The mounted exchanges went decisively in the Visigothic way: and enabled a series of flanking strikes on the battle in the centre. In the end this was enough to secure the win.

...in a recharge that must be seen to be believed when two units of knights turned the tide of battle, much to the surprise of both myself and Morat Sorry Morat, I had more luck than skill.

rafydedel German 888-932 with Magyar Allies defeats Karvon Dailami 928-1055AD with Khorasian 40-2

Dailami tried a "hit and run" tactic with a group of horse archer and light troops, but were caught by the german and magyar cavalry. Survivors fled to regroup with the rest of their armies which were hidden in the woods, but they were too scatered to be effective and by the time the Dailami had gathered to launch their counter offensive, I had managed to reach the 40 % level.
