From today’s perspective, it’s an entirely unthinkable scenario — China in open conflict with Russia, fighting for control of Vladivostok in 2027.
Militarily and economically, such a clash would be extremely unlikely and immensely risky — but I thought, why not?
In 2010, no one thought seriously that Russia and Ukraine would be stuck in a 4 years long bloody trench war, that a US president would openly claim that Canada is the "51st state" or that taking Greenland by force is a possibility, or that the UK would leave the UE.
At this rate, everything is possible. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mongols go to war again in 5 years and create a gigantic empire stretching from Lisbon to Beijing after a surprise war that defeat everyone in its path...
... And that could be a fun twist

So America will fight Russia to the last Ukrainian and then if they are all killed they will be replaced by the Baltics Poles and others )))))
So the Freemasons, the shadow world government of the Anglo-Saxons and the homos are waiting for the giant countries to clash with each other )))) Since so far it is not possible to fight China and India very strongly, small hybrid wars are going on all over the world !
You are right in the 20th century there were 2 world wars in the 21st century they could not yet put in coffins millions of 100-200, the theory of the golden billion has not been cancelled! The rich are building bunkers and bases, the hungry will die of wars and epidemics !!!!

The player faces part of the Russian Pacific Fleet, which must be eliminated at all costs.
Chinese ground forces have practically broken through and are advancing southward to capture the towns along the coast.
The player has 12 air and 12 sea transport units to move their forces by air or sea to the designated objectives.However, it would be advantageous to capture the airport north of Vladivostok so you can deploy additional troops there via an airbridge.bvf.png
The game’s AI would never find its way to Vladivostok. In any case, finding the right balance here is not possible for me — hence this decision.I had considered adding more Chinese paratroopers and landing craft, but then the player on the Chinese side would have an overpowering advantage; consequently the defender would need more troops. That’s a spiral that never ends in scenarios like this, and there’s no guarantee the AI will use the extra units correctly.
Toby it came out just gorgeous battle ) I deliberately delayed until the very last move to prolong the pleasure ))))) I wish there was a whole mini-company on this theme ) About the AI, yes it is stupid but I will still try to play for Russia ) Great mission I wish more of them !!!!.
AI controlling the Chinese courageously attacked, but by the 25th move, despite even their successes, the Chinese were completely destroyed and their base was captured ))))) Replay attached !

Hello, yes — I originally created this scenario with 40 turns and then thought, why not, and increased it to 45. That gives the player a chance to let their units rest and refit.
I’m planning, though not until next year, a mini-campaign on the theme of Vladivostok, but set during World War II and as part of my Yamato campaign series. From time to time, I’ll also keep working on and releasing standalone scenarios like this one.
Interesting replay, by the way — in my tests I wasn’t able to eliminate the Russian air force within the first 15 turns; they were a tough nut to crack.

As long as it remains interesting and doesn’t drift too far into the implausible, this game offers a wide canvas for one’s imagination. I think it’s fair to say that no one wants to see Estonia rise as a nuclear superpower — so everything should stay within reasonable bounds.

People General was about a conquering China that invade all of their neighbors, including a very poor Russia that was unable to stay relevant due to the profound crisis that followed the fall of the Soviet Union and that have to rely on the US to help them against China.
It seemed, if not realistic, at least relatively plausible in the early 2000'
But to be honest, that's a good change ; we often play Western powers vs Russia.
Russia vs China allows to change the pace of the game, since they don't have the same units.
Back on your scenario, there was a similar campaign in the game
Wargame : Red Dragon ; Bear vs Dragon ; also playable with China but set in 1979.
Conquest of Vladivostok ? Here we go again

This diagram shows the areas from which Chinese troops are likely to advance and the places on Taiwan where they are likely to land if Beijing launches an invasion

If you want a massacre you should make a map Invasion of Taiwan ) True we have China and US Japan and no Taiwanese army but they can easily be represented by South Koreans )))).

This could be developed into a mini-campaign, or even a larger one with 10 missions, etc. I actually wanted to leave that up to the author himself, as I thought Modern Conflicts would be continued, but the project has come to an end.

Why do we need 10 maps when it's one island )

Special ops before the invasion, naval operations, air defenses missions, company-scaled scenarios, etc... a lot can be done
Some missions about Taiwan were also considered here ; but I admit I was more thinking about a single big scenario about it on my side.

Oh yes,
please do it, I'm busy with other things at the moment and don't have much time. Besides, I probably won't be able to finish the Polish campaign this year and will have to postpone it until next year.

That is sad that we don't have South-East asian countries in the mod.
Since the mod will not be updated anymore, we could consider to add new countries in an unofficial update ; but it is beyond what I know how to do today
That could be very interesting :
- a giant front between India and China ;
- a giant naval warzone in South and West China Seas, with Taiwan as a key objective ;
- a mixed zone in the Koreas, with a narrow but intense front on the DMZ while navies fight around to bring reinforcement from oversea ;
- we could even add Russia to the show : against Japan about the Kurils or to defend against an US attack on their naval bases.
The more chaotic, the better

I am already delaying my next serbian chapter to make a scenario with Tomas's Korea map :
That's cool to change both the parameters (a big scenario is not made like a classical campaign) and the setting.
In my campaigns, we are not supposed to play in Asia before part 7 ; so I'm happy to finally create something there

Akkula gave the mod to the masses he has so far two very talented followers and suddenly appeared a talented cartographer )))) So Asia in the fire of the 3rd world war on 99 moves I think you are quite capable of creating yourself ) ) Well you are lucky to have a patient and wise tester !!!!
