And last but not least - The light brigade (+1 I)
As I wrote somewhere already, I thought cavalry surprisingly useful

With Rudel.... honestly I cant remember anymore. I probably did it while attacking England. When Allied fighters where still a threat I wasnt able to really defend anything (see the Fleet). As a pure Tacbomber he probably would just have died.
I like the sturdy Romanian and Italian Artys. 350xp shows they saw some action
And for the Cavalry.... If I ever play this again I will use a lot more of them.
The have great movement in all terrain and all weather.
So parking them in rough terrain is a lot easier.
And there they hold their ground even against tanks.
Since they dont use trucks they are also dirt cheap to repair.
They are kind of a dark horse (pun intended

)

I have experienced this kind of situation with cavalry, but I have not intended to use them more, very good idea

Amazing review, I can agree to many points you made!
RE strategic map screenshots, most interesting for me would be around these times (/around these usual historic events)
- end of 41 (~usually Moscow / Crusader situation)
- end of 42 (~usually Stalingrad / El Alamein / Torch situation)
- mid 43 (~usually Kursk / Sicily situation)
- mid 44 (~usually Normandy / Bagration situation)
- mid 45 (~end of war situation)
Thank you Sir. You were the reason I finished it btw
The first save I had was Turn 20 start of April 1942. So no end of 1941, sorry.
Groundforces

and Air

Thanks a lot for finishing this AAR and thanks so much for sharing the screenshots of the strategic map... very well played!

Yes, also some Italian cavalry units are very useful around Tunis!
