Thank you for posting our results. Both of our games were see-saw affairs that could have gone either way. The terrain in the above game came with a huge rough terrain hill right in the center of the map! Much of my Swedish foot got bogged down in it whilst William took my other flank. In the end I was luckily to get several fresh salvo foot to break worn down tercios for a close win.

I didn't win any of my games, but they were all a lot of fun.

awesum4 (catholic) beat Ed1815 (protestants) 19% to 49%. 9 points to 1.
The early tercios attacked aggressively and charged home so as not to take too much shooting. A couple of raw late tercios and some light troops held his left wing so my massed cavalry on my left could overwhelm his right.

awesum4 (Swedish) beat Edb1815 (Imperial) by 62% to 38%. 8 points to 3.

Very close battle (score was about 37:40 before my last turn). I was extremely lucky because of the map's terrain - a lots of rough ground and marshes in front and forest on my right - it was good protection agains swedish flank march (mostly cavalry).

Dilly ( Swedes ) beat Pixel ( Catholics) 9% to 40% so 9 pts to 1

Isn't the 9% technically 0 score at least according to the rules as written? I'm sure I could've routed a few more of the Swedes if I didn't throwaway my right flank cavalry. Regrettably this did not come to pass. A nice decisive victory for Dilly's Swedes.

You are correct 9% gives a 0 score. Its 1 point for each full 10% the loser kills of the winner. Also 1 point for each full 10% the winner is ahead by.
Dilly did the same thing in a previous result, but it is correct on my table of results.

AlexDetrojan(Swedes) narrowly defeats TheGrayMouser(Imperialists) 64-59.(not sure what the points are, to me it looks like 6-6,a draw?) At any rate, one of the best fights I've had in a long time, not one un-bloodied man left standing on the field.

you won the battle, but by less than 10% so get 6 points. TGM killed over 50% of your army so gets 5 points.

I'm waiting for the results of Pixels games in section3, once they are in we can move on to round 2

Any updates on that last game?

I am asking because the next FOGII DL season will be starting soon and it would be nice to get round 2 going before that.

There are 3 games still to be finished. 1 has 2 to 4 moves till it is finished and will hopefully be complete in the next few days. The other 2 are still some way off.

On Friday I will call a halt to the games and consider any unfinished games as draws. So each player will get 1 point for each 10% of the enemy army destroyed.

So on Saturday I will post the draws for round 2 and the battles to be set up. This time i will message everyone to alert them so they can start the challenges. Not everyone comes into this forum regularly.

Pixel Protestants 54% Routed

Game went until Nightfall.

Dilly held the field according to the game so that is a defeat for my Protestants.

As neither army reached the 60%/40% and 25% more then you have lost break point with hostilities being halted by nightfall I'm waiting on Awesum4 to clarify how he wishes to handle the scoring for this game.

I err towards 6 points for Dilly and 5 points for me.

But, could also potentially see both of us at 5 points for this battle depending on whether the technical defeat counts as breaking your opponent.

Either way it was a very nice and close fight. GGs Dilly!
