It looks bad for the Russians, the Russians have Leningrad , Moscow, Omsk and the Caucasus. The Germans have the rest of the country. The Russian pp is around 105.
The Russians let the Germans across the Don. I thought sucking the Germans into supply 3 area would aid the Russian side of the fight. Russian would get more partisans generated. I thought I would make more infantry than the Germans and I would string the Germans out on multiple fronts, which I thought would also aid the Russians.
Obvious it is not as good as holding the Germans at the Don. But I did not think I could do that. The first summer turn of 1942 The Germans have what I would think would be the perfect Army design for crossing the Don. At the start of the summer of 42 the Germans have 8-9 TACs and I estimate they would cross on the Don on the first turn of the Summer of 42 in four places. I don't think the Russians could push them back, but I might be wrong. Then the retreating Russian Corps would not be able to out run the German Calvary. I imagined the German Calvary massacring the routed Russians in the clear terrain, like some bad Napoleonic battle. So I decided to just give it all to the Germans.
It turned out worse than I thought it would be. The German and Italian Calvary was faster than I expected and Russia was carved into three pieces with the last piece being the Russians dug into the forest in front of Omsk.

The Axis game plan seemed to be throw everything the Axis have at the Russians and beat the Russians so hard during the Summers of 1941 1942 and 1943 that you can coast to a victory.
It seems like a good plan, as you can see in the AAR where Duncan's Russians and Supermax Russians were wiped off the map in the Summer of 1942.
My game plan was nothing fancy, it was just to stay alive as the Russians. I thought maybe all you have to do is stay alive as the Russians and you might win? Who knows? So what I did was just build Infantry to stay alive. On the second turn of Barbarossa, like turn 34 the Russian bought two tanks, which probably was a mistake, after that the Russians have never bought another offensive unit ever again; no Airplanes or Tanks or Mech. Nothing but Infantry, the Russians were just fighting to stay alive, stay on the map. So the only thing the Russians bought in 41 42 and 43 were Corps or Garrisons. When things looked good I would buy Corps and when things looked bad I would buy Garrisons. Things mostly looked bad, so for a good part of the time all I bought was Garrisons.
The result was the Germans killed a lot of Russians. By the end of the summer of 1943, nearly 200 Russian Infantry units have been killed, though most of them probably were garrisons. I have never experienced such a mass killing. From summer of 1942 on, the Russians have hovered around the low 50% of manpower, but have never drop to below 50% manpower.
But remember my over all strategy, maybe all you have to do is stay alive?
It is getting near the end of the Summer of 1943 and it looks like Omsk is going to be safe!
I am starting to feel good as the Russians ! So good in fact I am going to build my first Mech unit ! It feels really good not buying an Infantry unit! my first non-Infantry unit since turn 34.

My strategy is to do my best to fight the Soviet Union,Weaken it,But Western allies have plenty of time to strengthen them,The situation will reverse after 43 years of winter

T84
The Allied forces began bombing our railway transport capacity cities,As a result, our train transport capacity has decreased considerably, sometimes, there are only 4 point in a round,We can't transfer units on a large scale,Sometimes I have to pay some PP.
I heard the new version 4 that no unit of transportation is allowed when the train capacity is negative number. If that's the case,In the latter part of the game, the axis will be difficult to mobilize troops!
Severe winter is over,We got a breather,Our troops in the East and south of Moscow were ready to retreat
