Can I just confirm I'm OK to vary my selections within the set army list to adapt against different opponents in this competition? I haven't changed it so far, but would like to for some of the remaining opponent.

New result for you Kostas IMC Byzants v Kilroy's Jewish horde.

A very good game with a massive Jewish army v the lesser Byzant horde. In the end the Byzant cavalry made the difference. Even sweeping the MF from a few small hills. Thanks for the game Kilroy. I'm sure you will soon have your revenge.

IMC's Samaritans have beaten Edmund Blackadder's Byzantines as follows: IMC's Samaritans 33/47 Edmund Blackadder's Byzants 25/23.

A classic encounter of quality v quantity. This time quantity won. The Roman lancers, unfortunately unsupported initially, valiantly charged again and again but tired allowing the footmen to take them out one by one. The Roman foot arrived but too late. Bad luck Richard. A rare win for me against you. I'm sure normality will be restored next game.

Edmund disguised as Odoacer (19/21) 90% defeated Kilroy's Foederate Romans (22/22) 100%, by a wafer thin margin in an exceptionally tight battle.

My last 2 challenges are up against Ulysisgrunt's Odoacer's Army and allendeuce's Visigoths. Password for both is 5thC. I think Mike needs to challenge me with his Romans against my Visigoths too.

With substantial help from the dice, Edmund_Blackadder's Romans (3/21) 14% defeated Ulysisgrunt's Heruls (23/21) 100%.
