All current 50+ scnearios have been updated.

I have attached all structures to AI teams with static order. Hope this will persuade them to attack.

I have also created bridge blowing events for just about every bridge crossing (more than 70 bridges in Denmark, luckily that was an exception).
A bridge will blow when the Germans are 1-2 hexes away AND there already is a defender on the bridge.
That should provide some randomness to the bridge destructions depending on the whims of the AI.

Thank you for this.
This is an update on the 39-41 campaign right? same campaign?

This is the same campaign which I keep updating.
I add new scenarios as they are finished.

I have not decided what to do when the late Sea Lion scenarios time-wise may conflict with Yugoslavia, Greece etc.
Maybe the German commanders travel back and forth to the continent until Barbarossa starts and the campaign moves to the east.

Hi EriK, thanks for the great work.
But I have also the bugs with these scenario triggers, e.g. in the Piatek scenario.
I've managed to destroy every polish forces on the map, all flags were captured from my troops -> result is a draw???

i have finished all scenarios for the first Blitzkrieg campaign. It will end with Sea Lion and the last scenario is a battle for the Allied bases in Iceland.
This is more than 50 scenarios...
I'll update the campaign link as soon as the Reykjavik scenario test is finished.

The next Blitzkrieg part will start with Yugoslavia/Greece and then move to Barbarossa. Depending on the number of scenarios, it may cover everything on the East Front to 1945.

I'll test all current scenarios for any primary objective issues.
The test is simple; remove all Allied units from the scenario, place one German next to each objective and capture the objectives. This should disaply any primary objective problems.
Testing secondary objectives means playing all scenarios from start to finish, I really don't have time for that and have to rely on feedback from players.

Erik, I'm curious. Disregard if this question is too nosy, but how are you getting this done so quickly? 50+ scenarios in what, a little more than a month? (You started this thread on December 18.) I know that you are using Panzer Corps as your templates, and that is what I am curious about. Remembering the amount of time that it took me to make just one scenario map, does that mean you are able to simply import a Panzer Corps map into OOB? Because you cannot be creating 50+ maps from scratch, I don't think. What about all the AI programming: the settings, the teams, the triggers, the events. How is this possible? Forgive my impertinence if you view it as such.

Hi Erik,

I am experiencing the same problem with the Piatek scenario. No matter how I win I still get a draw then the campaign ends. By the way this is a great campaign. I made it to Arras before I saw there was a version 2.3 and upgraded.

The scenarios are created manually. Here's what I do:
1) Open original scenario in the PzC Editor
2) Add an extra hex row on the top and bottom map edges.
3) Create screenshots of the map, usually you need at least two to cover it all. Stitch them together in ICE (free Mictosoft Image Composite Editor). Save as template.jpg
4) Open OOB, create a new scenario. Usually add 1 hex vertially and horizonatally to the PzC size. Save
5) Put the template in the scenario folder. Load and you hopefully get a perfect background map matching hex for hex. Build your map starting with locations, flags and location names. Then rails, rivers, roads. Finally rest of the terrain. Creating the map is fast & fun :D
6) Copy scenario data, briefing/victory info from the various PzC files.
7)Add units. There are always a few unit types in PzC that is missing in OOB. Use some suitably substitute.
8) Check the PzC scenario scripts, this contains useful info when setting objectives etc.
9) Create the rest of the OOB scenario. Presto!

The list is long, but all steps are fairly quick to execute. I may spend 4-5 hours putting a scenario together. A thorough play-test would take at least as much time. So I play the opening rounds making sure the mechanisms work.
Right now I'm testing all primary objectives for all scenarios 'cheating'; remove all AI units, place German ones next to objectives, play a couple of turns capturing objectives. If the objectives all get the green OKs, the victory mechanism works for primary objs.

So I've got a pretty effective create/test system going.

On the first scenario, Poznan, I encountered a bug where after capturing the Railway Station a Polish tank unit recaptured the objective. Even after destroying all enemy units and capturing all objectives including retaking the Railway Station I was given a defeat in the campaign. In the objectives list Railway Station remained a red X even after being retaken.

Sorry about. Sounds like the game mechanism is a bit off.
Unfortunately, I have no way of testing the AI retaking objectives.

That said, I've now tested all of the scenario up to Sea Lion.
Found objective issues with some and fixed those.
There's a testing thread on the Scenario Design forum where you can check how far these tests have gotten.
I have just updated the campaign file, it may take a bit to finish upload.

I'll start on the Sea Lion scenarios today, but first I need a pizza and a couple of beers :D
Yes, the wife is away on a dog-show with our two Great Danes. That's how I get things done, bru888 :D

Wow. Thank you for the detailed explanation. I am not "blowing smoke," as Americans (and Brits?) say, when I tell you that I find you to be an amazing fellow. In this context (OOB), that is. Who knows how you are otherwise? :) Well, keep working, my friend, and thanks again.

I am having some difficulties getting a major victory at Warsaw. All enemy units have been destroyed and artillery pieces captured but the objectives do not complete.

Is Denmark an original scenario? I don't remember that from PC and the scale of it caught me off guard after the small compact scenarios of Poland.

Secondary objectives (that are neccessary for major victories) are often notoriously difficult to test without playing the whole scenario (often several times).
I simply have no quick-test which I used for all primary objectives.

So, regarding Wrsaw. If you show me a screenshot displaying the order screen I can at least check any ?-objectives in the editor.
No promise that it will be fixed though. A ? mark next to the objective does not tell you if it is working or not...

Edit: Denmark is an original what-if scenario. I prefer scenarios with large maps to leave some room for maneuvering. Norway is also original and includes Narvik which unfortunately was left out in the original OOB Blitzkrieg campaign.
And yes, the original PzC scenarios are mostly on the small side.

Hi Erik, I just downloaded v2.8. Until this version I could not get past the Dijon scenario. I would get a victory then it would go to the main screen background with no next scenario. Version 2.8 has fixed that issue however I am still unable to get any other than a minor victory even though I completed all primary and secondary objectives (I did get the Char B1 tank though the indicator is still a question mark). Even when I tried the cheat code #igotnukes. Attached are screen shots. And thanks for doing this campaign. It is great!

As I've mentioned earlier, many secondary objectives are a bitch to test (unless they are straight capture location objectives).
I think this is probably why most official scenarios does not differ between minor/major victory and just label them Victory...

Using the nukes cheat will always give you just the minor victory. I think it should award you the major variant.

Anyway, only some scenarios in the campaign will kick you out. And then only with defeat results.

Sorry I can't help you with the sec obj. I'll take another look at it, but no promises

Is there a way to modify the campaign path so that any victory goes to the next scenario?
