Battle of Tedium, err, I mean Delium
Londo (Boeotians) 37/40 - Cunningcairn (Athenians) 48/45
Really, fogman, couldn't you have added some Polish Winged Hussars, or maybe some Samurai, to spice this one up?
Joking aside, I second what Ian wrote above. Thanks to fogman for a very enjoyable tournament!

This was not in the cards since I only planned for one pool but since we ended up with two, the two winners should play a mirror game to determine the overall 'lord'. The battle is Marathon. Let me know, Ricoual and Londo, if you intend to go for it.
Lords of History, 3rd edition, English battles, await...
Hastings 1066
Bannockburn 1314
one of Verneuil, Poitiers, Agincourt.
Towton 1461
Flodden 1513

Yes, let's do Marathon and see who is the Lord of History! I am very keen to add it to my other noble titles.
Londo

P.S. I hope it's a relatively short scenario, and not too much of a marathon.

it's fairly small.
Be careful to study it before you move. Look where the immobile units and the objective points are. The Persians get rewarded for 'boarding ship' and evacuating troops, so plan accordingly.
Londo will challenge Ricoual using side 1.
Ricoual will challenge Londo using side 1. (If Ricoual can't issue, London will challenge Ricoual using side 2)
This is safer as there were scenarios disappearing when issued as paired games (as our Fornovo games just as I was about to give you a clean sweep!)
Fogman, Lord of Bong (hence fog...)
