Oh wait I must have taken your pursuit seriously as I just busted out 3 more achievements last night.
5 Star Tac Bomber
5 Star Recon (You were right Dragoon, it was easier to try and get this achievement in Allied Corps.)
5 Star Anti Tank (I got this one just by attacking with my 25 Pounder in anti tank mode. Seems kind of a janky way to get this achievement, but I will take it.)
That leaves only my 5 star Fighter and 5 Star Anti Aircraft left to get out of the 5 Star achievements.
I am really close with a fighter in Allied Corps, but I think I will have to get the 5 Star achievements with on of my beloved 88's in my Grand Campaign.
That makes 52 out of 80 or 65%.
That might take a month for skyfox to surpass me now.

I must admit - I am impressed that you could achieve so much - it just shows anybody can do it!! lol, ah, ha,ha,ha.......

Just picked up another achievement last night that makes it 43 complete! Hum, a month - well maybe a short month say February - lol.

OK, so this isn't a listed Steam achievement, but...
I was using a bridge engineer yesterday and wondered if anyone had ever got one to 5* (the hard way, not by converting another type of 5* infantry).
It would be pretty tough because they have no 43 upgrade. It may also be pointless as they are almost as effective when green as when experienced.

I was wondering about a Para unit - I like to have one Para in my core units - it has come in handy from time to time - plus it gives the option to get in the backfield with an experienced unit once it has 2 stars.

Completed another achievement today for a total of 43 (54%). The fight goes on!!

Maybe a leap month?
Seriously you should be passing me soon because i am not able to achieve very many more achievements without some serious campaigning, which I just do not have time for.
I will be surprised if it takes you into next year to surpass me.

Dec 9th I hit 40 (50%) - so since then in 5 days I have added 3 more achievements. Dude you need to get your priorities corrected - it's all about the game - I mean who would put work and 8 kids 1st....

Ok, I have completed two more for a total of 45 (56%) now things will slow to a crawl as I need to start finishing off campaigns. However, it will pick up in a big surge when I get the 5 stars for my units - 2\3's of the way now, most are at 3 stars.

Completed # 48 two days ago so I'm at 60%. Once this campaign is complete - I should get a batch of five point units then I will have you well in hand.

Number 49 complete for 61%. Only a few scenario I think 2 to complete another campaign which will give another achievement - which will give me the big 50!

OK, I did it - just got achievement 50 - had to work hard for this one. Next one will probably take me a week, starting to feel the burn!
goose_2 - two more should tie you - the flood is coming better buy a boat!!

Well, I always hate to disappoint you goose_2 - I decided to push thru the burn and go for the deploy only half core and win scenario in a campaign and got it!! Whoop, Whoop!!! So now I'm at 51 - do you feel a little flame on your tail!!

yes yes I do,
I found the first Norway Scenario of Grand Campaign the easiest scenario to acquire the lone wolf achievement.
You can bring 2 SE units and Oleh Dir to dominate the scenario.
(Just need a minor victory to get it)
