The real reason is that Matt would not be able to find his way out of Manchester let alone navigate to a different country.

I know exactly where Scotland is Dave. You just head North until you can no longer understand a word anyone is saying. Then you leave Newcastle and Scotland is just after that. :D

Thanks for a great weekend guys.

To George and family for hosting and feeding us; to all the friendly competitors; and especially to my 4 opponents: Alan Cutner, Hunter Hope, Gary Lind and Leslie Mitchell.

Also to Gordon Jamieson, well done mate. If I had to choose anyone to stop me getting the treble it would be you. A well deserved victory.

P.S. I got home to an e-mail from the Russian lady who kept me up late Friday night giving me her number and saying she would like to hear from me. :D

I presume this means you finished near the top of the under 18's ladies tournament?

Speaking of under 18 girls, was this one found at www.myrussianbride.com?

A Scottish Russian... The mind boggles.

Nice try Ladyboy !!

We start early afternoon for Schiltron so drive up early on the Saturday morning.

This meant I shouldn't have been staying out late with an English Russian in Saltaire Friday night.

The commute will be a lot less than with a Scottish Russian. :D

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

But more importantly - did you get your moneys worth?

My postulation is firmly in the direction of 1. Alan C 2. Rob Taylor and 3. John Munro.
Hunter, I'm impressed by how close you got with your prediction. Two out of the top three isn't bad - even if just one correct position.

Many thanks

Although I bet you have heard plenty of other rumours about him. Frankly I do not like like rumours so instead just take them to be gospel truth which is far more satisfying.
