but when I unzip the file you kindly provided, there's no .CPF file, but a folder with files and subfolders, none of which are .CPF.
I'm using an iPad to play BA, and don't have a Windows BA file structure to use as an example, so perhaps this renders it too difficult to explain?? If not, let me know.
When MERR originally posted these they were in .zip format. This is all I have for these battles, no .lst or .cpf. Not sure if there is a way to create those files to allow for iPad use?

IIRC you need to run in debug mode, then on the editor listbox where you select your campaign there will be a button with the Slitherine logo. Select a campaign and hit the button and it will generate the .CPF file.

i downloaded the dropbox files for SOLO play and they work really well, however i find that the game might last some turns more .... a medium battle with just 15 turns it is not enough (compared with BA2 skirmishes)

You can tweak the scripts to up the turn limit fairly easily.

I think I may not be very bright! I downloaded the zip files for the MP . I have filed them in the multiplayer folder of my BA files. How do I actually access them to play a game in BA??

Unzip Solo to "C:\Users\[name]\Documents\My Games\BBCBA\CAMPAIGNS"
Unzip MP to "C:\Users\[name]\Documents\My Games\BBCBA\MULTIPLAYER"
In the game to play either follow the directions...
For Multiplayer:
Login to BA and click Multiplayer
Then choose My Challenges and then click New Challenges at the bottom
Scroll through the games listed until you find Merr's battles
Pick the game you want to use for a MP challenge.
For Solo play, Choose Campaign
Then scroll through the list to find the Merr battles

My version (or perhaps my opponents version) seems to be corrupt. I played the first turn ok, then got the mismatched script warning for the second and now, on the third turn, I can't even load it...I get scripting errors and have to escape to get out.
Does anyone have a version of this?
