1. Do I have to keep my main 600pt army in a province to garrison it? Can I recruit a garrison there and move on with my army? Can I drop off a small chunk of my army as a garrison and move the rest on?
This IS a good question ..... I would like to drop off 50 points to continue the occupation of a province and move on .... can this be done?

garrison are create at start of the turn, at the same time of army creation.
so where you are at end of the previous turn, you will have a garrison next turn

While I'm asking:

1. So what happens with my move to Sicily??

2. If an army is reduced, does it have to return to it's capital to "fill up" or do I just do it where I am?

at start of the turn you receive 50pnt for the province occupation, those 50pnt are used to create the garrison.

The Late Macedon here!

My map shows me just short of perg. still inside Macedonia. My intention was to move to the pergamene capital hex tho.

Have I missed something.

Cheers

I just thought i had misread the movement pts. ie it had cost 3 per hex not the 2 per hex i assumed.

Am sure it was assumed you went in and invaded. You were mentioned as one of the battles. I'd go ahead and fight.

Ok Just want to be sure everyones om the same page.. i assume the agressor should issue the challenge?

Uh I guess that means i should issue a challenge to Celtic lowlands and Mac's should issue a challenge to Permamum?

also, Billgber, could you tell us what terrain we need to pick? I cant really tell what terrain type corresponds to the map (does it matter the capitol is there?)

also dont you need to tell us what happens w bad augere and good strategoi?? Thse apparently effect the terrian on the battle.....

1)Capital have no impact.

2)Celtic battle as in Pontic are on mixed terrain

3) bad augure have no impact

4) Statagema: Ptolemaic could choose flat terrain instead of very flat

hope that clear

Sorry I can't link a copy of the terrain image that I received. But to describe it in words:

Desert - Very Open
Clear Green - Open
Bushes/Field - Mixed
Bushes/Desert - Crowded
Mountains - Very Crowded

I don't know what the terrain in a Capital Province is.

Ok that is reasonably clear....

Kap. (king of Celtic Low) I will issue a challenge tonite 600ap challenge I will choose mixed terrian, as will you
pass word: celtic

Gary of Macedon: I will await a challenge to be posted and a password from you ( I assume you found boats to cross the Dardanelles) I will select a 600 ap army and we will both chose mixed

Uh, is the any limit of leaders, ie inspired or whatnot? (not that I ever buy them anyways)

My map shows i have NO battle to fight against Pergamem.
My only fight is against Bosporan acting for ontics, which we are close to completing.

Guillame can u confirm this.
