I realize now, I don't ever remember the M4 Calleope ever getting any experience from bombardment kills.

Ahh, I think I see now why quests are so bugged. I think in the OFFICIAL final scenario there is not supposed to be any side-quest for capturing all victory tiles? I think it's a carry-over glitch from past scenarios.
I say this because, now that I am checking out some of the other scenarios again, I am getting weird side-quests like "Destroy all King Tigers", despite Kings are not present!
Somehow, these quests are not being totally re-freshed between one scenario played to another.

It seems I can not assault along a diagonal. Is that by design?

Hmm, never mind seems to be a false alarm. There are some other tigers in the other scenarios as well. So I'm really not sure now why the final scenario cant count victory flags right. Probably a typo in the victory variable settings.

LOL, in the first Desert scenario, I just got the green box warning me that the Italian tanks have entered into the Desert valley, and to HIT THEM HARD. Though I have just got the greenbox message before already congratulating me on killing the 3 Italian tanks :P Well, I actuall did do that. I don't consider this one a bug worry about, just a humourous glitch that may not always be timed right :P

It seems silly that if I am roaming around, I can bulldoze a unit and still have movement left. Yet if I don't move and decide to bulldoze, then I lose all APs.

It costs a lot more to go through a wreck tile than a normal move. Bulldoze also does allow you to remove a wreck at will, meaning you can move other units through the tile without them incurring a cost. It is a little edge-case though, I admit.
Cheers

In the first scenario of the Africa campaign, the map ends as soon as I have 10 kills. How then, does one get a BRILLIANT victory by completing all the side-quests in one scenario?

For those side-quests regarding "Do not lose any units". Does having 1 infantry out of 5 in a rifle squad count as a whole unit in this case?

Hmm, this has probably been mentioned long ago but to re-iterate... The window inf-box for the START-OF-TURN summary isn't available anymore in 0.7. I find myself constantly wondering what turn # we are on.

They were done mission by mission but we're taking them all out so we can add a general purpose end turn report pop up.

If you need to know the turn for a mission, then it should be shown by the onscreen display? If not then let us know the mission where it is missing.

I believe, it's missing from all of them?
Take a look at the first scenario (Western Desert Campaign) for example. The only thing I am told is to capture the victory points within 12 turns. But there is no other indication as to what turn I am on. At least the current turn # could be added to the end-turn tool-tip or something.
I can mod this in myself easily, but if I have trouble keeping track, I assure you many others will be also.

YoOu should see turn counters start to appear in the info windows, press i in the top left to toggle it on off. You will end get turn pop ups added back in soon.

I am noticing it is not always obious when a GRASSLAND hill is a hill. You may want to add a 'Hill' text in the cover tool-tip for when the mouse is hovering over elevated terrain.

Not sure if this is a bug or by design. But US Airborne start off with 125 morale? I would expect at least a promotion tacked on then.

There seems to be some sort of display glitch on the on-line Normandy scenario.
For some reason, these forest tiles show up quite strange, and the problem spills out past the border even. Everywhere else, the forests show up fine in the map.

If you have a map specific issue can you press F1 to ipop up an info box. Then bottom oleft it shows you the filename for the map. It is much easier for us to track issues like this otherwise teh desigenrs have to try and work out which map they shoudl be lokoing at before they start. Thanks.

It can be problematic sometimes when not sure if an opponent has used off his reserve fire or not. Instead of writing things down on paper to keep track, shouldn't there be a second bullet symbol used to represent the free reserve maybe? Or some other symbol to show a reserve has already been fired.

I pressed F1, but do not get any info box in 0.7. Maybe I am missing the obvious somewhere?
