I see Pete Dalby and Dave Ruddock both cleverly avoided me.
Are you sure Dan? I think it was fairly predictable where I'd be?

I will just re-phrase your obvious error there

"I see I managed to dodge and weave to avoid Dave and Pete quite cleverly there."

Dan "Chicken" Hazelwood

Considering I have 100% success rate in my tournament battles versus Ruddock. I would just say, "Some chicken. Some neck."

You mean you were about to get a monumental kicking until a dust storm kicked in. You have so far chickened out of playing FoG against me, which includes being a non playing umpire at Washington and refusing to play in the test matches. Despite your obvious preference for the biblical period you then chickened out of that once you discovered I was in the biblical section of the ITC!

I rest my case - Dan Hazelwood = chicken ;)

You came into a very clever designed trap and then got kicked hard and you blame it on dust in your eyes ! pshaw

What is biblical about the Lydians? No chariots. No Wrath of God. No Old testament stuff.

And here was me thinking about how I was going to deploy the Lydian Chariots

And you believed him

How delightfully naive 8)

And when you asked, this was an honest answer - we were still at a very early stage of Team GB development.

The French Ordonnance is a good anti Ottoman choice though.

Look forward to seeing you guys next week.

Hi Pete

Don't want to make you feel confident but my Ottomans beat a French Ordonnance in the last round at Britcon.

Go get em !!!

Well anything short of Dalby getting 4 25-0s is will be an embarassment extraordinaire.

Ruddock of course already is complaining about the light refracting off the water prevented him from winning 25-0.

I will definitely be embarassed then. I can't remember the last time I won 25-0.

I'll just be happy not to lose if I can.

I think that the best four game score in a tournament by a UK based player is 93 by David Fairhurst at Roll Call last year and even then he failed to score a single 25-0 win ;)

Two top players with an interesting match up.
Not so sure, because our 'french top player' (Jérome) has not played a lot this year and is not very well trained*

Regards
Lionel

* of course I say that just to put the pressure on Graham, because Jérome plays 3 games / day since June to be ready for the ITC :)
