Thank you very much.
Thanks for the tip. I have two versions of the campaign. Both are the same except for the language. I have tested the English version and linked the probably German version, I will change that, thanks.

Update!!!
The English translated version is now included in the link.

It was a short battle between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Japanese Empire. Despite fierce fighting in southern Thailand, it only lasted five hours before a ceasefire was reached.

I'm not yet sure where my campaign series will end.

For the time being, it will remain in English and German. Creating the maps and missions, reading articles and translating the story into the game takes a lot of time. Be patient my friend.

June 7, 1938 or how to kill half a million people at once.
Early in the morning of June 7, 1938, by order of the head of the Kuomintang of China Chiang Kaishi, the southern part of the Huyakou Dam in Henan Province was blown up, the Huang He River changed its course and rushed to the southeast across the fertile plains of Henan, Jiangsu and Anhui Provinces. The flood peaked on June 9. Inundated were 54,000 square kilometers of territory of these provinces, 11 cities and 400 villages. The number of victims remains unknown. Immediately after the disaster in the world media called the figure of 700 thousand people, in 1946, the Nationalist Commission counted 800 thousand, modern Chinese researchers say at least 900 thousand.

I try to include a few special missions in some scenarios. For example, the mission I'm currently working on is to take out an enemy flying ace in order to receive a large bounty.

A little variety is good. Yes, you could capture a certain facility or free a target...I know that from somewhere...

I'm not quite sure what on this Japanese airfield the base there made airplanes with crosses ( maybe medics )? )
After the annexation of Taiwan, the Japanese began to develop the new colony. Among other things, not far from Taipei, they - laid out a village, which they named after the Japanese city of Matsuyama - 松山 (Chinese spelling is the same, but reads Sun Shan - Pine Mountain).
In 1936, a military airfield with the same name was built near the village. Taipei - 台北 (Taihoku in Japanese) had by this time sprawled, and the airfield was on its outskirts. By the second half of February 1938, Japan's aircraft fleet was so depleted that the government had to urgently contract with firms in Germany and Italy to purchase new aircraft. Foreign ships with military equipment could not unload in the Shanghai port. The Japanese not without reason feared a raid of Soviet bombers. Therefore, unloading was carried out on the Japanese islands, in particular at the main base of the Japanese Air Force on Formosa.
In mid-February, our scouts reported that another caravan of aircraft arrived on Formosa.
Disassembled airplanes packed in containers were delivered to the airfield, where there were already many machines in the parking lots, assembled and prepared for the flight to Shanghai.
My investigation shows that these were exports from Germany or Italy it remains to determine the brand of aircraft ))))

It's like a detective story that deserves to be reflected as a series on Netflix )))))) The plot Soviet planes piloted by Soviet pilots under Chinese logos bomb a Japanese base in Taiwan , where there are German planes in addition to Japanese planes ))))) The fact that a 3 year old fuel reserve was destroyed is also impressive ) Hybrid war of 1938 comes out no other way )
https://zakon-poryadok.mirtesen.ru/blog ... lo-v-Uhane
...and the next morning they read in the newspapers about the success of the American pilots who had bombed the base on Taiwan! It turned out that an American volunteer, Commander Vincent Schmidt, had already told the newspapers that it was he and his men who had destroyed the Matsuyama base. About the Russians, he mercifully reported that they also participated in the raid. Next, Schmidt promised to bomb Tokyo, without giving away on trifles. “Hong Kong Telegraph” had time to publish an enthusiastic editorial, when there was an embarrassment: the Chinese command knew perfectly well who bombed whom, and the Japanese sent a note of protest to the Soviet, not the American Embassy. However, for a few days Schmidt went googly-eyed: Soviet aviators for reasons of secrecy did not give bright interviews. When the truth was revealed, Schmidt took offense and left. A surprising episode: Schmidt was an experienced and not at all bad pilot, a veteran of World War I and Spain, but apparently jealousy of someone else's glory outweighed everything.

Thank you, that's enough for me.
Perhaps I have overlooked the name/designation of the bomber squadron.
But that's not important, otherwise I'll give the squadron a pseudo name. If I let Japanese fighters climb up to intercept, it's fictitious anyway.

In the fall of 1937, more than two hundred I-16 fighters were handed over to the Kuomintang, formidable “ishachkas”, at that time - very modern and combat-ready. Along with the airplanes arrived a group of “artists”. In official documents, the Soviet pilots were listed as philharmonic artists touring China.
