A break in the center fighting in a rough area lead to a chain reaction, helping to rout the Thracians before they could break some shaky units themselves. GG!

Morat (Lombards) 52% beats lunecastle (Byzantines) 67%: points Morat 68 lunecastle 52

Brutal swirling scrap where the Lombard horse just saw off the Byzantine forces - but this was a really close fight throughout.

Many thanks for flavour, Tyrone. Enjoying both the tournament and the setup.

Could I ask you to add two columns, to the right of the total score? Firstly, the number of games concluded for each player, and secondly, the average score per game.

That would be very interesting to look at and compare. (Since currently a player's total score is so dependent on how many games he has concluded.)

Another tough Game with Morat, this one went my way this time. From 50-50 onwards it
was anybodys game. I thought it was Morats, then I broke more troops near the end and some
strange rng saw both my fragged warbands survive.

A pikey affair. The Ptolemaic elephants both routed early only to rally back. But Nelly decided to go chasing a Seleucid elephant ignoring a nice juicy rear charge on an already beleaguered Pike Block. The Seleucid centre held whilst the flanks won and turned in. Tougher match than the score show. we will meet again.

I dont think Karvon has posted this.
The Thracians didnt want to come out and fight the Seleucid Pikes (probably wisely) so danced around picking off lights and the odd unruly medium foot. They tried to sneak a win by winning the skirmishing, but enough Seleucid's remained.

Franks had to dig into some rough ground to root out the squishy Byzantine units hiding there; that and winning the cavalry duel on their left helped put the Franks over. GG as always!

Lunecastle (Gallic) draws with Ray552 (Lysimachid) 56-55. So the score is 56 Lunecastle, 55 Ray552.
Ray552 played the Lysimachid Pikes in exactly the right manner. They totally dominated the game and most pike blocks
were intact and in control of the center at the end of the battle. The Gallic army had more luck against the Greek cavalry and
lighter troops. Great game throughout, Thanks for the game Ray552.

Karvon (Sassanid Persians) defeated Blagrot (Western Huns) 62-42 for a score of 78 to 42.

Persians slowly herded most of Huns right and center off the map or killed them. Huns got the better of us on their left. Heavy infantry and cavalry did most of the chasing with elephants helping to stomp on those who stood or got trapped in fights.
