The Pictish army is formidable, but by refusing my left flank and a clear cavalry superiority on my right flank I achieved a critical mass at the right point that was able to achieve a surprisingly quick victory before his right flank troops could interfere. Great fun to see all the warbands go at each other, while the Pictish spearmen were unable to stop the rot.

Battle fought on hostile terrain (many rough hills and forests).. but the main fight was over a small plain between the two hills and the forest. Once the Thracian line was broken in a couple of points, carthaginian units and elephants could enter the gap and flank many units... anyway thracian army fought with courage and it was not a walk in the park ! Thanks to my opponent for the battle!
