Your fan base appears to visit your forum topic frequently, hungry for new content and updates...
Case White and Case Green... hmmm. What could this be? An early WWII sim?
You know, I used to hope they would put you on the development staff; however, I realize now that we all get more scenarios with the "other production/development teams" doing their modding thing. It's like a Christmas present for us.
Hats off to you and Churchy!

btw I wonder why in Panzer Corps there is no such thingy for direct downloading proven and quality campaigns from game menu
like in Battle Academy...GTPG should be placed there as #1

I hope this feature will be implemented in the future. In my opinion every mod is number 1.

I'm currently devoting a lot of time on Project X. The first version will be made with the stock units of the game, similar to GTPG v1.0 . I hope i can do at least as well as with the GTPG series. Indepth scenario introduction will be posted soon.
Therefore as appreciation to the posters and the great support i always received from this community, some of you will receive a copy of the next built by pm. It will consist of the scenarios Fall Grün, Fall Weiss, Winterkrieg: Suomussalmi, Winterkrieg: Salla, Weserübung Plus, Fall Gelb, Dunkirk (Dynamo) and Fall Rot. All maps are brandnew with the exception of Weserübung Plus. I already look forward to your reactions if i am on the right track here.
GTPG v2.0 has been put on ice for the time being but the first part will be definitely released before Christmas. I have two more scenarios to test: Kursk (a new map) and Moscow 43 (somewhat changed from the GTPG v1.0 version).

GTPG v2.0 Part 1: 1939-1943
If i counted right, there should be 53 scenario's.
Install guide, credits, flowcharts are included in the download.
You can continu the game after 1943 but it has not been brought up to v2.0 specs yet, also savegames beyond this point will not be savegame compatible with part 2.
My gratitude to all fellow modders and admiration for this wonderful community! And a big thank you to all the playtesters!!!
Grab it here from sendspace:

Hi nikivdd,
First of all let me say: "congrats", excellent waork a real joy to have those 70 scenarios, I am playing the campaign right now, I come back 10 years in time, the original campaign was great and you successfully translated it into Panzer Corps engine!
A good alternative to the PG mod v 0.15. In this campaign at least we can use the sould redux mod + the historical flag mod + Massi Mod, impossible to do this with PG v 0.15 since GFX is then altered (using multiple mods is not possible there)...
Standalone scenarios ?
In order to play the scenario as standalone I put them in My documents\My games\Panzer Corps\scenario folder I guess ?
I tried but apparently the scenario can be played only in campaign mode, I have no units except ships for San Francisco...
Same thing for persia with only a few units in ships.
Strange because in the first posts on this forum you seem to talk about scenarios also playable in stanbdalone version...
Campaign text files
I report a an error:
After Narvik there is a text message "NarvikB_decisive" after the scenario, they write "comamnding" instead of "commanding".
I changed the text.
Is there a tool where we can easily see which text message is linked with which scenario so that I could make the corrections and send them to you.
The Panzer Corps Scenario editor I guess ?
I guess you copied-pasted all text of Mr Treitler without checking the spelling (it is true you had surely other problems: the conversion work).
Madrid scenario
Something else: Madrid scenario is supposed to take place in 1936 but the date set in game is August 1939, is it normal ?
It is done because the e-file starts in September 1939 and there is no unit for 1936 ?

Hi RobertCL,
Thanks for pointing out the typo. I actually found another one in the same line while reading
These briefings are already way beyond what Gerold wrote so many years ago. I wrote the new briefings in my substandard english but afterwards it was Ceek who helped me out, to write the kind of briefings (from scratch) that lean close to the concept of the game and the campaign in particular. I used some of Gerold's briefings but that was during the pre v1.0 versions, if someone actually remembers the v0.1 and the dynamic linked campaign that i made before.
About the Madrid scenario. That was the first nut to crack. I decided to take august 1939, for the reason you mention, the e-file. I didn't want to alter anything to the e-file, so at least that it would remain compatible with any further vanilla updates and secondly, the campaign would be playable for players with a personal e-file. Ofcourse the personal efile, must respect the ID numbers and its units from the vanilla part.
And then as a final note, a constatation since i upped v2.0 (part 1) a week ago, more than 600 hits but there is no reaction whatsoever. I think sendspace will bill me

Are some scenarios playable in standalone mode ?
In this original game it was the case, now not any longer ?
See my post above.

The scenarios in v0.1 could be played in standalone mode. But because of no feedback on that part, i never developped the standalone versions for v1.0.

OK thx (sad: it was fun to play San Francisco 45 as standalone during my DOS time).
Dunkirk scenario: "Britan" is used instead of "Britain". Maybe the scenario briefings should be checked again in a next version.
Great scenario, Hitler was right to worry but he should have tried, hopefully for us he did not do it...
You can continu the game after 1943 but it has not been brought up to v2.0 specs yet, also savegames beyond this point will not be savegame compatible with part 2.
So the campaign is not finished if I have properly understood.
Based on the flowchart we can see that -unlike in PG v 0.15- there is no definitive victory over England in 1940, at best after Gibraltar we chose the North African or the Russian path.
Same for Stalingrad, impossible to change the course of the war after a win at Volgograd.
OK: we have to wage war up to 1945 in Berlin and in case of DV we move up to USA, the game ending in India.
Sole regret: when we see the medals of our units we see we have earned them at "scen 04" for instance (it is written that way), sad that all scenarios are not named.
I shall play up to 1943 waiting with patience to your final completion
I hope for you that next game editor of Slitherine will not force you to change the whole campaign again...
Very good work, I love your campaign!

Version v1.06 is finished, except there might be a future update to correct the typo's. There are the scene0X names, an old remnant of v0.1.
The newest version v2.0 (part one) is done until Moscow 43. There the scenario's got a proper name when you save your game.
Project X takes me further than before, and i am going to try a few things, which i didn't even attempt in GTPG. For example there will be a different campaign path if you manage to take Britain in 1940. Further unhistorical paths if you win at El Alamein, Stalingrad...
