The jungles on the Bulgarian flanks gave good cover for the lights, whose support helped win the flanks. The elephants kept pursuing the routed center, allowing the Bulgarians to take out the support infantry and artillery.

With the additional comment i probably generated a bit of confusion.. The battle ended in a victory. I only wanted to say that , on the field, there were still opportunities for my opponent (he still had 6 of 8 of his best infantry troops, also in good position to hurt my units)... but the battle ended because of the 25 % difference rule.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
The final score was 60+(43-18) vs 18 --> 85-18

Zawzgrzyt Visigoths 419-621 with Byzantine defeats Vadim84 Persian Sassanides 591-628 52-25 (87-25)

Challenging battle, Persian troops seemed very dangerous against my army. With a long maneuver, the Visigoths regrouped with an entire army, positioning themselves behind two large stripes of rough terrain across the battlefield. This largely neutralized the shooting cavalry and elephants. Still, it was not easy and the battle could easily go wrong.

The Aragonese largely deployed on gentle hills on their left and center. They cautiously advanced onto a gentle hill on their right flank. The Berbers advanced across the map and aggressively charged Aragonese light troops. Some unlikely multiple pursuits of light troops by Berber lancers occurred that unhinged the Aragonese line. Despite hard fighting, the Berber veteran spear were not to be denied. Good game.

Considering the armies, it was not surprising the battle occurred on desert terrain. Very rugged terrain on the Berber side which hindered their deployment. Much more open on the Mamluk side. The Mamluk army consisted entirely of cavalry and the Berbers were largely cavalry and light troops. A whirling, swirling battle ensued. Good game.

The battle was extremely close. At the start of my last turn, we were both at 58% losses. I was able to put in several flank or rear attacks and they all broke their opponents. Anicydeer533 is a very enjoyable opponent.

I would like to ask a question. After those two weeks, the points table is published and the players go up or down divisions? is there a second round or the championship finish?

heidipie irish defeated wzcfn vikings 72 to 52 , in a brutal clash...irish managed to grab some rough going in their center left and turned the flank of the vikings but the vikings in turn destroyed irish right in open terrain , the mounted huscalrs doing great work......irish managed to take out most of the Viking foot as the Viking horse was scattered off in pursuit.....irish numbers probably made the difference, and again the rough patch.....
