After Car/Armor series, do you have any airplane project ?! I love this plane, i hope i can see it in Panzer Corps. Could you please make my dream come true  TANK you ADV

Testflights begin with the Junkers Ju 287 four-engined jet bomber. Pilot was Flugkapitan Siegfried Holzbaur.
Some 16 test-flights are made at Brandis airfield before the machine is flown to Rechlin for further research on aerodynamics.

Image

The machine was constructed at Dessau and was build using parts at hand. The fuselage was from an He 177 A-3, tail-unit came from a Ju 188 and the nose wheels from a B-24!!!
Only the wings and engines where to be constructed.

Image

At the end of 1944 developing work is halted but in the beginning of '45 work starts again.
A second prototype is not finished, only a mock-up. The Russians collect as much workers of the project as possible after war's end and work continious under there command.

You clearly forget - technology wasn't up to designing cool-lloking stuff (B2 Spirit) in the 1940s

Between you, guille and maguro these threads are becoming unit icons contest :P . The best part is that all mod makers are going to be happy :D

PHCAS, maybe you have some ideas for how to make this look a bit more Soviet-looking...

Phcas: Very good work with that Ju-287... If you don't mind, I will "borrow" the tail saection of your icon because I like it more than the one in my version... :-)

Thank you!

Thanks guille1434. Everybody can rework/borrow/use my work. As more nice units will show up the better it is. I use work of other as basis also some times. The goal of us all is making the beautiful PzC better with our mods.

Greetings PHCAS

Thanks man! That's very generous from you! I also think that anything uploaded here should be used by anyone in any way he likes... No sense in imposing "conditions", or to say "look at it, but don't touch it".
So, thanks again, and keep up with your super-excellent work! Your technique is perfect! :-)
