Publically insulting a dear friend and neighbour isn't on!
The Morbian army marches!
Please pick a province for the invasion. I'll post the battle invation later after work.

The jungle drums beat a new rythm and the Pantherish host is unleashed. May Parthia be crushed beneath our padded paws for not yielding to our new ally, Crimea. Unleash the cats of war!

In my official capacity as the most feared and dangerous province on the map, I would like to welcome newcomer 'Septa' to the Lost World.
Now prepare to be crushed.
ps Hand over your lunch money too.

The Dark Lord, Ianhotep of Rhodes cannot understand why a bunch of 'pussies' are defeating his neighbours in every battle.
An expedition has been sent to the Pantherlands to solve this puzzle. Rhodes attacks the Empire of the Panthers.

Well pick another ally then and I'll invade him!

The war drums beat in many a palace as well as that cat basket. War parties demand attacks on various countries & nice play by one of you who placed a black King on a player who already had a King (War Party Demands) !
Welcome also to davouthojo the leader of the Clan of the Brave who joins us as player 23.
Players 21,22 & 23 have no alliances - may I offer the opportunity to change this ASAP guys as the Summer phase draws to an end and the campaign turns start in earnest.
There are a few random events unplayed - I'll trigger them at an appropraite time to tax their 'owners'.
Your suit cards (clubs, hearts etc) are played at a time of your choosing - advise your opponent & myself please.
Also piracy has to be played on your first campaign turn, i.e. when you fight a battle or you have to pay the pirates off to avoid. Two of you have this card.
Pity poor Eupatoria - managed 3 losses out of 3 battles. Believed to be now buying a new set of virtual dice.

My cursed astrologers are now looking for new heads to replace those they lost! Auspicious time for battle indeed! Liars!
In any case I will continue my current battles and also immedaitely invade the slave state that borders my realm. What is its name? Vomitus, no thats not it, ah Revoltus, thats the it. People of Revoltus be advised you will returned to your rightful positions in the established social order.

I just had a very tense and exciting game with TheGrayMouser. It ended in a draw. It's very late and I'm to battle weary to look at the rules.
So I just ask how we proceed from here?

No effect on morale for first battle - I'll PM you both with new points & you decide from on what next.

An army that won a battle will recover 50% of those lost but a defeated army only recovers 20% of it's losses
Other percentages for a draw I suppose

?
What will be the result for the winner(if there is one

) in the next game? i.e. will TGM take the area in the unlikely event that he wins
After I have had victory do I get to keep it? Or a third battle?

The Empire of Panthers continues the invasion of Parthia by entering Dahae.

Utopia -- the center of the known world and keeper of its seven wonders -- has decided to come to the aid of its ally, the Canines in their war with Rome. Therefore, we have dispatched an army to attack the Roman province of Samnium. One question though before I post the challenge: are we using FOW or not? I'm getting confused by all the revisions to the campaign and all the other campaigns.

How noble of you, do not think us weak do to a set back involving a draw.... Our legions merely had to shake out their organizational change from 650 to 500 ap's per the Great Ones orders....
In Rome, solid objects tend to block the seeing of items behind, as such we would prefer to fight in the same manner , with FOW on
BTW is Blathergut, the spark that ignited LWW1 even involved in the fighting anymore?

On the contrary, getting a draw against the Canine hords is no small feet.

This is why Utopia marches. I have no knowledge of Balthergut's where abouts though. My challenge shall be posted shortly with FoW on.

He is currently filling bubble machines with lots of soap and covering the battlefields of Misratah with a layer of foamy bubbles. The Morbious army is currently popping away madly with pikes to try to find his army that is hidden there somewhere!

FoW is at the discretion of the 2 players.

Both will recover 50% - good question that I hadn't thought of.
Invader needs 2 wins to force defender to concede the area (although the war can then continue in a new area with new 500 point armies).
Is there an area with a city under attack yet? Anyone?

I thought cities took 2 seasons to build, so since people only started building them this turn, then that means that a city can only be under attack if someone is attacking a capital, which can only happen if it is the only province left.... so I guess that means NO. Or have I misunderstood something?

No as an exception to the rule, & to get something more useful out of alliances, the builds just now have immediate effect (it was supposed to be in the Spring phase anyway).
So those areas on the map with an * after the area name have a city in place now.
After the first battle in such an area the defender has the option to retire into the city etc.

Will it take 2 seasons hereafter?
