I just had the game update with the latest patch now its saying at the MP screen that I must update at the launcher to be able to play online.

I have done it several times from the short cut and twice out of Steam with both Ancients and Medieval updated. Anyone else having issues and does anyone have a solution?

Hi Rex, I have the same issue as you with Ancients and have been pondering whether I have to de-install and install again. Medieval gave me no problems at all. The update happened and I logged straight in, although I had no current moves Medieval.

I thought it was an individual problem to my installation but seems more widespread.

In main FOG II forum RBS posted that the update was causing that issue, but that it is now fixed.

May be fixed in Mediaeval, but still same problem right now in FOG2 ancients
