Me 262 initial problem was confirmed. On turn 2 reinforcements arrived near Belgorod but no choice to pick 1-3 fighters. On turn 4, reinforcements arrive north of Kolpny and the notification is they arrive near Shchigry. No fighters.

I'll go further back and try again.

When I open the mod-manager, the only thing I see is:

PC1 Grand Campaign - local03.12.22-

My last game update was on December 4. I haven't done today s update yet.

Thanks.

i only added prestige to Voronezh with the update from today. no idea why the reinforcements show up at the wrong time and the Me262 don't at all.

I'll take a closer look. thx for mentioning it.

When playing Morocco on start I get a "DLC needed" error. Is the scenario dependent on SCW? It's the only one I don't have. If so could the dependency kindly be removed?

ok thats a first. ;) i took the first map of the DLC and modified it. I cannot remove the "DLC needed" flag, since i have no idea where to look for it. I'll redo the map and issue will be gone with next update.

Thx for letting me know. since i have all DLCs this never struck me. The same issue might happen on the western Europe path once u reach Normandy(Operation Hinterhalt). Let me know if this is the case once u get there.

Thomas

i just rushed to Voronezh to check and all is working fine for me. the Me event is on turn 2 and 4 while the reinforcements arrive on turn 3 and 5.
if this is not the case for u, u somehow managed to play a very old version of the map. Hard to say what might be wrong from here.

It did work for me a week ago before I did the second to last update. That's the one I was running didn't have a Moscow scenario yet and just ended the campaign.

I have updated it minutes ago. I see that I have two file folders. One is labeled 1943EastNH and the other is NHEast1943. The first has a map updated on April 3 and the second has the map updated on Nov 22. Could this be the issue?

Thanks.

NHEast1943 is the correct one, the other one is from trying to find the issue why i could not use custom portraits.
If u still have a savegame in Stalingrad, please try from there and let me know if it works for u know.

In the preludes, I'm guessing you can't do this, but it would be nice for elite reinforcements to be unlimited on turn 0, and then limited during the actual scenario.
I can "house rule" it now through the chat window of course

Anyway, great work on this mod and happy holidays to you!

Just reran Stalingrad from the beginning and then the first 4 turns of Voronezh and got the same results.

The only thing I think that was different was that I added the missing ) at line 515 in the Voronezh lua file. That line does deal with the Me 262. I didn't change anything after the latest update - assuming that the fix was implemented.

Going through the lua file and it has the Me 262 events at turns 2 and 4, and the reinforcements at turns 3 and 5 as they are supposed to be. But the fighters don't activate during play.

Frustrating. Might have to start 43NH over and hope for the best.

u sure could do like have +500 Elites on turn 0 and then remove them on turn 1, but that would kinda ruin the whole point of limited supplies, no?

for whatever odd reason u seem to have an old campaign script in ur safegame that will go to the old map.
the campaign script is saved when u start a campaign and can't be changed later(at least i can't).
I'm not sure how or what happened to u there, but i am not able to recreate it.

sorry i couldn't help there.

Too bad, that event did not trigger for me. Like I said I can remember 1-2 script errors. I always make sure to get all the points and I had plenty prestige...unfortunately I dont have a savegame, so I cant reproduce the error message.
Explain alot, why my "air" is not that strong ;)
ur job is not to shoot down enemy fighters over Rome. ur job is to protect the depots. Shooting down planes will do u no good, since they instant repop all the time.
Yeah I thougt so, it is a new kind of playstyle. I will comment that in my conclusion, after finishing the mod.
Both are superheavy vehicles. they can't be put on sea transports.
Yeah too bad. I think we need bigger ships, I want to invande the USA in 1944/1945 with my biggest monsters :D

i will wait with sea lion and valkyrie for more and new models as well as the repair of modells that alrdy exist.
To do a propper Sea lion we need at least V1/V2 in working condition. i would like to have a decent model to represent the JU390 to airlift heavy tanks to the British isles. Something like the Focke-wulf kamikaze carrier would be nice, too.
i have several ideas how it can be done, but with the limited model count atm, it would be weird to have like 10+ different delta wing aircraft all looking the same. ;)

creating bigger transport ships is not an issue. making them look like a bigger transport ship is. ;)
same problem as above.

Thomas

Yea I sort of headcannon the time between each battle, represented by turn 0, as having full r&r, and then when the battle is started as being limited to your available forces+immediate reserve

Had a weird happening that might explain @88Flak's problem with the Me-262s

Patched the 12-10 update over the 12-3 release, then loaded into 1939Danzig. While playing, I noticed I only had 3undos activated, despite normally playing with 5 bc I mis-click all the time. I figured I had just not changed it at the beginning of the campaign.
I promptly forgot to change it on the Danzig victory menu and loaded into Bydgoszc, accepted Wittman, lost the cp, but then he didnt show up. I loaded back into Danzig last turn to access the victory menu, and I noticed that patching over had somehow reset both my undos from 5 to 3, and also my general points from 3 to 2.

I changed them both to what I had been using, loaded back into Bydgoszc and accepted Witmann. And this time he showed up.
