Quick note on a recent discovery we made in the 100YW campaign, if you post a 500 point game at least one of the players must be at 500 points. if both players are below the listed game points the game will not launch. Actual point value does not matter but at least one of you has to be at the game points level to get it to launch.
Hope that is clear
Hmm there must be an another issue (unless something changed 1.26)

I have fought 2 'second battles" in the LW, I simply saved as my 650 pt army and dropped the units down to get my new post casualty figures.... I assume my oppoenst did dthe same and no issues

Also , in regular DAG battles, it is quite normal to not spend 100% , I often have 1-3 ap left over and Im guessing whowver pickes up the challenge might as well...

There was a lot of talk a number of pages back regarding making both the invader and invadee put up a territory for each invasion to avoid the need for a duplicative counter-invasion. My understanding was that this rule had been enacted, but I'm not 100% sure. If it has, then we need an answer to the question of what the invadee stakes when invading through an ally. If not, ignore the question.

Omnibus update for Crimea

I'll also PM this to Peter and Scar for update purposes:

The Crimea is currently invading Carthage and Hyperboria. Given the confusion regarding whether folks need to counter-invade or not, I haven't posted my provinces that are at stake. If I need to, they will be the Euxine Coast and Aria, respectively.

The Crimea is currently allied with Phanagoria, Eupatoria, and Illyria.

Peter has clarified this as follows (to be added to the guidance thread):

The change to 500 point armies means a slight change to the rules. In line with earlier posts / discussions we are going to have 2 players fight only one war against each other so no more counter-invasions. If the invader can win 2 battles and there is no outstanding siege then he takes the area. The defender can concede the area earlier if he chooses to but cannot carry onto a third consecutive battle. Where a city is involved it means that if as defender you lose a battle your choice is to fight again or withdraw into the city. If you fight again and lose then the area is conceded. And if you fight again and win then the attacker must withdraw - using 500 point armies after 2 battles there will not be enough left to carry on fighting IMO. Any 2nd battle in this area must use the same armies and reduce them as usual.

If/when the attacker withdraws then the defender may carry the war into one of his opponents area. Both sides get new army at 500 points.

The Lord of Arrakis is concerned that his forces attacking Armenia might stray into neighbouring Rome by accident. He takes decisive action to avoid such a mishap. War is declared on Rome!

Emperor Morbio takes offence of the incursion into the lands of his ally Hidde by the armies of The Covenanter Empire.

Accordingly we are entering their lands so they know what it feels like to be invaded!

Blathergut of the Bubbles takes offense of Morbid taking offense of the Covenanters invading the lands of the Hiddious ones who invaded the tranquil lands of Egypt and disturbed the royal bubblebath. We march to war! (And to collect some of those famed morbid bath sponges We've heard so much about!)

Let Us know which province we enter and our royal forces shall fall upon you there and make prickled pike targets of your bodies.

My army awaits you on the plains of doom, those lands where our women are the ugliest and the vultures the hungriest, may your bleached bones act as a deterrent to others who follow your footsteps.

Thank you to Blathergut the Magnificent for quickly coming to your aid and declaring against the Morbians. I will try to remember to send you some mor-bubble bath when I get a chance :)

About to post the updated the Players Table with declared alliances.

Hopefully you've all told Scar (not me) of wars.

Battles should be at 500 points for the first battle from now on.

When changing to 500 point armies I checked all the event cards for any amendment required - missed one (thanks to Pantherboy for spotting it). The Spade suit 'Disease in an Army' now reduced an army by 100 points and not half it's strength.

War Party Cards - I'm waiting on the owner of the black King to say on whom he will play it.
