Division B

devoncop (Egyptian) beat Ulysisgrunt (Hebrew) 42% to 16% in a brutal contest that left me with 3 fragmented units and just crossing the threshold for a win....

Thanks to my opponent.

Division D
sunnyboy (Spanish 300-10 BC) beat Karvon (Graeco-Bactrians 250-130 BC) 51-23
With initial success enjoyed by the Spanish skirmishers, the oriental Graeco-Bactrian despot began to redeploy his concentration of horse and elephants on his left. The Spanish medium foot set off in pursuit of the retiring lancers and elephants through a forest!
The Spanish horde flew in pursuit, however were greatly hampered by great steaming piles of pachyderm poop. The Graeco-Bactrian manure manoeuvre allowed the cataphracts & elephants to escape, however the xystophoroi and armoured noble lancers weren’t so fortunate falling to the Spanish swarm.
As the fighting spilled out of the aptly named Dead Horse Wood Graeco-Bactrian elephants, cataphracts and horse archers began extracting a terrible toll on the Spaniards as they sought vengeance for their fallen comrades. However, this proved too little too late, the Spaniard gaining the victory.
Thanks for the game Mark!

Mirrored games error

I have run into a bug on numerous occasions when starting a mirrored game. One game works fine but the other does not. One player is able to take a turn then when it’s my turn it seems the on screen buttons disappear. I have been told by some that they experience this as well. Also heard rumors of a patch. This seems so basic that it should have been fixed.

Semi-final line-up for the Themed Event

The deadline has just passed for the completion of the quarter-final matches. We still have one result to come in, but I do have the latest score in it and it is clear who is going to proceed to the semi-final. We are going to have a new winner of the Themed Event this season as the two previous winners, myself and Nosy_Rat, have been knocked out in these quarter-finals.

The line up for the semi-finals is as follows . . .

1) dkalenda v rexhurley

2) IMC v hidde

I will post out the match details for the semi-finals first thing tomorrow morning.

Division A

harveylh - Jewish Revolt 66-135 AD draws with NikiforosFokas, Scots-Irish 50BC-476 AD, 52-44

Tough game fought on a map filled with rough terrain, woods, hills and marsh. Very appropriate considering the armies involved. And the terrain slowed the initial clash which helped cause the draw.

(2-2)
