Weekly round-up
Triarii (Arab Bedouin) maintained his place at the top of Division A with another win this week. Joining him on 15 points is Cunningcairn (Lombards) who has finished all his matches. pantherboy (Bretons) looks the most likely challenger now with 2 wins from 2 starts. Nothing to report from Division B, but in Division C a flurry of results involving the top 3 players has resulted in MorkinTheFree (Romano-British) winning his second automatic promotion of the season. Geffalrus (Bretons) produced a storming finish to come second and deve won an impressive 7 matches out of 9 to come third. All 2 players are likely to find themselves in Division B next season.
Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
harveylh (Division A) 4 matches
Triarii (Division A) 5 matches
ahuyton (Division B) 4 matches
deve (Division C) 4 matches and finished
Geffalrus (Division C) 4 matches and finished
MorkinTheFree (Division C) 9 matches and finished
Match completion rate (45 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 21 out of 45 matches completed
Division B - 34 out of 45 matches completed
Division C - 33 out of 45 matches completed
Division A is still slow, Divisions B and C are very good.
Player of the week
MorkinTheFree (DivisionC) who achieved his second automatic promotion this week and Geffalrus (Division C) who posted 3 victories to finish second.

In a very closely fought division, MorkinTheFree secured top spot with a draw against Karvon in his last match, finishing narrowly ahead of Geffalrus and deve. This is MorkinTheFree's second automatic promotion this season. Well played MorkinTheFree!

Weekly round-up
ianiow (Egyptians) has established a firm grip on proceedings in Division A with his fifth consecutive win this week. It is hard to see where a challenge might come from as the second and third-place players, harveylh (Medians) and stockwellpete (Carthaginians) have finished their matches. klayeckles (Assyrians) and Nijis (Achaemenids), who both have 2 wins from 3 starts, still have to play ianiow and one of them needs a victory to really open up this division. In Division B, XLegione (Phoenicians), the long-time leader, stumbled to defeat in his last match, leaving the faintest of chances for either Jagger2002 (Carthaginians), or his vanquisher in that last match, GDod (Syracusans), to snatch the top spot from him if either player can manage to win all their remaining matches. Whirlwind Geffalrus (Athenians) has struck Division C this week with an incredible 6 straight victories to overtake both greekiraklis (Egyptians) and deve (Lydians) at the top of the table.
Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
ianiow (Division A) 5 matches
deve (Division C) 3 matches
Geffalrus (Division C) 7 matches
Match completion rate (45 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 26 out of 45 matches completed
Division B - 28 out of 45 matches completed
Division C - 31 out of 45 matches completed
These are very good match completion rates.
Player of the week
Geffalrus (Division C) who has posted a remarkable 6 wins this week.

In response to these disgraceful accusations and slur upon my good name, I categorically deny having or have I ever suffered from scurvy, my fruit and vegetable intake satisfies dietary recommendations.
As for any other statements by these scoundrels …… unfortunately, I am unable to comment on operational matters at this time.

Sorry I dropped out without notifying anyone. A combination of a difficult test and needing to get my laptop fixed resulted in me completely forgetting about the tournament. I'm really sorry. I've sent the people who I stiffed private messages.

Division B
devoncop (Sertorius-Spanish) defeated Morbio (Bosporan) in a see-saw contest 63% to 38%.
The unexpected resilience of outnumbered Scutarii on the Spanish right held up enough of the Bosporans to allow the rest of their forces to be overrun by the Spanish Legions and warbands.
Thanks to my opponent and all my others in this competitive Division this season !

And the lesson is...losing a game can be almost as much fun as winning a game...even a loss to the dark forces.
