good terrain, pike vs. horse, greater numbers...hungarians were fighting up-mountain on this matchup... allen's good effort just wasn't going to be enough on this one! just when the hungarians would win a battle, the german swarms would sweep in from behind...with numbers

That is 16 games completed for me with none in progress. The last three challenges for SirLancelot22's Hussites, epos's Serbians and claytonengel's Ottomans have been up since 29 July with password 'Last'. Happy to play when you are ready.

First win of the tourney yay lol, was a tough fight though could of gone either way.

crazy battle it was...the french had a very defensible spot, and advanced archers and xbow across the rough to rain down arrows...at first the germans had no answer...the MF bow were too numerous and deadly. in the open fields the heavy troops danced back and forth, not engaging, each army trying to get a weapon advantage on the other... the germans were beginning to hurt (and thought about sueing for peace)...but a contingent of german lancers made an interior move to the far flank that suffered from the missile assult. the lancers caught the bowmen in the rear, as they ran desparately for the cover of rough ground...and a major melee ensued involving large numbers of MF on both sides...it didn't go well for the french. when the opposing wings of heavies finally clashed, the results were almost immaterial, due to the massive damage suffered by the french light troops....the swiss pike on both sides remained largely undamaged when the french finally retired..

I have been given an all clear with reference to my heart and to start work on a ft basis again.
