Triarii (Arab Bedouin) is the new leader in Division A this week with 3 wins and a draw from 4 starts. the main challenges are almost certainly going to be pantherboy (Bretons) and ruskicanuk (Arab City) who have both started with 2 wins each. The situation at the top of Division B is now that melm (Sassanids) needs to win 2 of his last 3 matches to win automatic promotion ahead of youngr (Romano-British) and rexhurley (Moorish). At the bottom of the table there are currently 5 players in a dogfight to avoid relegation. MorkinTheFree (Romano-British) consolidated his clear lead at the top of Division C with another win this week. One more win from his last two matches might be enough to secure automatic promotion although Geffalrus (Bretons) still has a chance to catch him.

Only result in Division A this week and that saw stockwellpete (Carthaginians) move into second place after narrowly defeating the current leader harveylh (Medians). In Division B XLegione's (Phoenicians) winning run of 6 matches was halted by Jagger2002 (Carthaginians) who has moved up into third place alongside SpeedyCM (Medians). Three wins for deve (Lydians) this week has seen him draw level with greekiraklis (Egyptians) at the top of the table, but he has only one match left now whereas greekiraklis has 3.

The 2019 KO tournament will open on Monday 1st April 2019. Recruitment will open during the week commencing Monday 18th March. There will be a maximum of 64 places available. If you have not entered the KO Tournament before it is a "sudden death" competition. You have to win to stay in. Players will choose just one army to use in the tournament. It will not matter if more than one player chooses the same army. No mods will be in use so please just choose from the standard army lists.

Division C

Geffalrus (Bretons) defeats MikeMUC (City Arabs) 52-25. GG to my opponent who came perilously close to rolling up my line with some punishing lancer flank attacks.

The battle itself was fairly straightforward - both armies put their cavalry on the flanks and infantry in the center. The superior mobility of the light Bedouins persuaded the Bretons to march forward and "get this dance party going." The Arab infantry in the center had a slight edge over the Breton warriors, but the Bretons were able to punch through in two places where the line was held by massed archers. The Bretons were then able to cause more flank attacks than the Arabs, and victory followed thereafter.
