Can the entire military population of Brittany defeat the mighty Indian elephants and enough arrows to blot out the sun? Despite the near constant misgivings of the Breton commander, the answer turned out to be: ...........yes, but only if you bring literally everyone.

Multiple cheap infantry units were stomped into paste, but eventually, the elephants were surrounded and routed. The Indian archers ran out of ammo well before the Bretons ran out of bodies to catch them with.
