What does that make Gwaylare and me? Team captains? Hm... if this is how you want it, I'm all game.
Everyone kicks my a*** to be fair so I suspect I'm eligible for all teams.

Goose, I never asked you to exclude me from the tournament. You used your power to remove the opponent. This is very mean. It's your big shame. You did this to save your friend Lifever from the defeat? Or to avenge your defeat in the tournament? Or both?
Explain to me the reason why you threw me out of the tournament? Why in a few moves before the defeat of Lifever, you did not give us to play for 3 whole days before the end of the allotted time? But in other rounds you gave extra days, so that the laggards had time to finish the game.
I did not expect that in such a tournament the contender for victory in the tournament can simply throw it away without explaining the reasons. This is a disgrace to the whole organization ... This will make legitimate the victory of the remaining participants ...

Unfortunately Rob didn't come back from the battlefield... so we are already down a man. We will mourn him the panzer corps way: please give him a well deserved artillery salute towards moscow. Afterwards salute in the general direction of Holland looking out the window. Even if you don't know him... you would have liked him! So straight faces, belly pulled in![/quote]
Thanks for the salutes!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Rubb it in mr Lifever. I lost to some superior opponents. But i decided to be a man about thát.
See you all next year! Y'all will be confronted with a new, * cough* improved and so much better version of me, myself and i.

From what I´ve seen of Gwaylare´s tactics (and I usually didn´t see it until it hurt), I suspect that you will join our team pretty soon.

Gwaylare will even know a few more tricks to show you once we are done. Do you have a team name yet? Don't bother. As your new team captain come end of july I will rename you to ttt - "team taken that".

No seriously... by the rules of team-warfare in Panzer Corps World Championship Tournament competition the captains never change team. Once the teams are assembled, you only look at the stars!
(or see stars, depending on the perspective)
You should know that btw. I'm already upset with the lack of proper knowledge in your team. What do they teach you all day long? Who's your drill sergeant?

We might not be much into the way of battlefield etiquette, but more into that of superior firepower.

Regarding round 7 I´m just making an observation in regards to this being (in Europe at least) Holiday season.
How does this factor in?
I for one don´t want any accussations about sandbagging and the time limit seems no longer than other rounds.

Good point. Thanks you brought it up... so I'm not alone on this.
So if I'm not mistaken it looks like this as of now:
Round 7 - July
Round 8 - August
Round 9 September
END
I absolutely support the idea of going 6 weeks over both summer months... (or something like that.. it just makes it more enjoyable. Maps grow bigger as well...!)

Sorry, but what do we do if our opponent hasnt picked up the game yet? Alexrus is my opponent and my game has been sitting there waiting since Goose made it open.
Just curious.
Thanks!

Can only tell you how I personally handle it:
I consider complaining about an opponent MIA a last option after trying to talk to them directly. Could leave a bad taste, so I want to be sure that its "warranted".
One weeks time to to start the game should be normal.. you never know when they finished their last game or may want a break.
After the start also about a week before asking them whats going on.
Under ideal conditions one talks to the other if he can't or doesn't want to start etc. Communication works like a charm. But of course they could forget if they are "tangled up" in real life.
If there's no communication and I'm really worried the game won't finish (slow turns, time running out) or the situation makes the sandbag obvious, I report that.
Has the nice side effect to have some kind of evidence who's to blame and could prevent a major discussion afterwards.

If you log into the multiplayer server then the admins will know you were available to play but couldn't because the other player hadn't taken his move yet.

Whoa Guys!
That sounds like it was an epic Fight!
Down to 1 day difference.
Well fought both of you.
Congratulations! Ins07...this means you will face the winner of the match up between Gwaylare and Lifever...I know this means you will be facing someone who has no stars but since you have not had a star since Poland, I feel it is fair...
Next scenario will be Kiev
Prepare now!

Have you considered punishing your troops for hanging out in every brothel from Smolensk to Moscow?
Of course it would be a distinct honor to share the battlefield with a Russian of flawless reputation and behaviour, so I will do my best to make that date in Kiev happen.
Speaking of punishing...
What's the speed record for Axis in Rush against a really good opponent? You know... just curious.

In the Match paulwalvoord vs. Drkjell
Walvoord won as Axis in round 17 and Drkjell won as the Axis in Round 19.
Thus paulwalvoord is the winner.
It was a tightly contested match and very enjoyable.
